isn't it time to talk about part 3 yet?
part 2 doesn't seem to have changed the situation of the servers much, and in some it only increased the alliance that dominates everything

I saw an idea floating around that bandits will be able to attack buildings.

That's a strong disagreement for me, the reason(s) below.

Most people play the game because of the politics and unpredictability of other players— especially in combat.

I am ready to wake up at 4 am to defend my towers against other players.

But I won't do the same if it's against bots. In the long term, this is monotonous and bland.

People will get bored of always being against bots, doing the same move, same combat, in the end, it's too repetitive and players will get demotivated.

While against players it's a completely new thing. There's running, hiding, and trying to escape an enemy through the maze of Green Volcano and other maps, including all the politics that comes with it.

Unless you can introduce some kind of Super AI into the bandits & PvE so that it plays like a human player, now that's another topic.

If you cannot replicate this experience, then simply don't change for the worst one. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That part of the game needs no change. The idea behind said feature is to give an attacker an equal chance as a defender would have.

Let's go back to the idea of "stealing fame from a tower". Let's improve on that. I love this part. If someday I am to be an attacker, this idea already looks attractive to me.

I remember someone suggested, Bandits will be able to kill a player with Skulls— This was already a thing back in the day. I like that this will be brought back.

the game is slowly bleeding to death, idk if thats called broken or not. It's practically dead just not fully dead.
Whatever they are doing, it should be done with more speed relative to their skills. This game is like a plane which is on its way for a crash landing.. if it weren't for old players, then this game would cease to exist because new players (MMORPG enjoyers) really aren't interested because of the nature of quests and the less reward from it. Someone from their team should look up to making minor tweaks on the player development side on a regular basis and the rest should take care of the major updates. Some of the minor tweaks can be increasing the percentage per quest to 5% at least and maybe a bit more gold added to it as well (that's just my idea of reward but I know they can do better) thanks for reading.

I gave a concept idea to rework escort quest into something actually bearable to do while still keeping to the difficulty but I guess it was considered too much work and ignored.

if it weren't for old players
there is almost no way for dino storm to obtain new players over internet. it was getting new player more or less when it was on facebook & armor games & kongregate & few more browser game sites. since dino storm is no longer on those platforms, that means there will be almost no new users to see this game over internet unless a friend recommends it to another friend. (also don't even mention the game never was released biggest platform steam, even it was green lighted by the steam community)

its partly true. if it wasnt for fb i dont think i would have ever found this game but not impossible. still not sure why its not on steam

every mmo requires you to be a no lifer but with most of them you atleast have fun. Ds is game where ur required to play to have fun. This barrier to entry should be removed or heck, keep the grind just make it more fun

Yeah but not if they are just planning to slowly bleed the players for cash and make them waste their time. Like imagine you do all this grind like a no lifer who doesn't have anything better to do with his life then the game just closes the next day.

The problem with clan pvp is that you don't get a satisfying or rewarding reward. You must wait days, weeks, even months to receive a reward

bro you just explained my whole problem with pvp. its useless, if you "gank" alone it is useless bcs you dont even get exp. pvp is useless at this point.

This game is so annoying to play, you are right. For pvp you have to farm for 2 hours to be able to fight for 1 hour without even being rewarded (3 hour time waste pretty much).

This game is so annoying to play, you are right. For pvp you have to farm for 2 hours to be able to fight for 1 hour without even being rewarded (3 hour time waste pretty much).
yes they do. i think beig rewarded for kills would be useful. U dont want pvp/only non lethal pvp with friends, they would have to add that to the protection. if you dont have protection, people should be able to drop all inventory. maybe even make it that u get a boost in hunt if you hunt without protection

yep thats it and thats the reason im fighting the war on behalf of everyone. I will convince splitscreen to change

Also, clan pvp should reward players so they can upgrade their stuff.

idk

For example, for 4k crowns, you can buy a pack of upgrade items, or for 6k crowns, you can instantly level up your dinosaur or weapon.

@Highway Please do a bit more work on the fame that we get. Right now even a low lvl 5 can get 1k fame per day while a high lvl 55 can get 1.5k fame per day. If you want to give 9k fame per day please make it so that low lvls cannot get as much fame, try some linear scaled fame reward. If lower levels want more fame then they have to lvl up and stop stalling.

I like it but it disappoints me a little at the same time. What happened to the similar item jump links? I thought they would be released in this update.

what would be your benefits doing it?
Well am not doing it but the people who lvl up account for selling/ play mutliple account will do it. That's why I am asking for a linear scaling on fame that low lvl gets compared to high lvls. As soon as they reach lvl 45 they and directly go for rex. Am not against anyone not having rex but if they get it too fast it doesn't make much sense.

It's just that all the update are super beneficial for lower leveled players right now. Although they do benefit high levels as well. All am saying is that if a lvl 55 gets 10k fame daily, a lvl 50 would get 9k, a lvl 45 would get 8k, lvl 40 gets 7k and so on.
