I do not understand these 2 points.

Please expand more on these ideas.
The first point refers to this:

but the classification of the offices from ranger to sheriff will remain the same

Remember that Tokens can be bought at Fred Ex! A prepared player (financially) can get tokens fast.
I don't think so, the crowns will be exclusively from the town hall.

This shouldn't be a reason to make rex extremely high, just the riches could gain it faster and that's all. I guess wishes of some players to buy rex with gc indirectly will come true

yes, it also provides an opportunity for new players to come without the previous system that limited many things

one thing is fact.
most players who are part of dominant alliances won't like the update at all, after all they won't be able to control everything and feel like "kings"

Congratulations for the failure, now the game can go bankrupt and give us back all the money spent in vain 🤝
are you afraid for your turns list?

Probably 500k - 1 million. It can be cruel but it is fair and balanced, besides that, everyone can achieve it but in small steps without anyone else deciding for you.
It should not be an exorbitant price, the difficulty to obtain the rex should be reduced compared to the current difficulty. If the difficulty is very high, the dominant alliances will continue to do their thing.

Those kind of players are the ones who will bail and complain here (anticipated), but it's better and beneficial for the game and the community. Also, this update will benefit from new players in the long run xD.

Good point, but it also depends on how many interesting items they add to lily's store to prevent the game from being saturated with players with rex

Even before we launched the Endgame Part 1 update, we were incredibly excited to see how you would respond to it ‒ we were thrilled by your numerous ideas, suggestions and discussions in the last thread! Because that thread has reached 60+ pages by now, we decided to start a new one specifically for Endgame Part 2.

We really appreciate the interest you are showing in our updates and have been eagerly following where in the game you are placing your new Jump Links (notice: loud)!

And since all the parts in our "Endgame" series of updates are so closely connected, some of you were already keen to ask when Part 2 would be released shortly after Part 1 had launched.

Similar to how we gave you a glimpse of our plans for Part 1, here is what we have planned to do with Part 2:

"Hard" Fame

So far, fame has been a fleeting element of which your ranger loses a certain percentage at the end of the day. What if we would just stop that from happening? What if, instead, you had it in your own hands to decide what you want to use your hard-earned fame for?
  • You will no longer be losing fame at the end of the day.
  • Customization items will now provide fame based on their actual usage, i.e. fame points will be added to your balance every time a customization item wears down a bit.
    • There will be no more “daily fame bonus” on top of that.
  • Holding Travel Gates and Claims will continue to be a vital source of fame.
  • Fame will be essential for earning Silver Crowns through the Town Hall.
    • For the new election system it will be necessary that the Fame value of other players is no longer visible via their profile.

Townhall Rework

Over time, elections in the Town Hall have proven to be somewhat inflexible and, unfortunately, not very desirable across the full range of offices. Climbing the office hierarchy was just a necessary means for reaching the office of Sheriff. But what if every position in Town Hall was actually desirable because it provided a useful reward?
  • Silver Crowns will be issued for attaining an office through elections.
    • The higher the office rank, the more Silver Crowns are awarded.
  • New election system will keep known offices, but introduce dynamic number of seats.
    • The number of seats can be adjusted based on various factors.
    • Offices are no longer organized in a strictly pyramidal structure, but the order of offices in their ranking remains the same.
  • New application process!
    • Applications are no longer made for a specific office, the only choice is between Street, District and Town (as available).
    • Similar to auctions, you spend fame points on your application but cannot see directly what other players are spending.
      • But: Over the course of your running application, you will receive additional information that can help you with assessing your chances.
      • The amount of invested fame can be increased for a running application.
    • At the end of a Street/District/Town evaluation period, players will be ranked according to the fame points they spent in applications. Then, the game will assign them a position from the list of offices according to their ranking.
      • For example, the player who spent the most fame in Town elections will be granted the office of Sheriff.
        • Note: Since no office can be skipped on the way to the top, this player in our example would only become Sheriff if they had reached the office of Marshal before.
    • During evaluation, players will receive an internal fame bonus for offices they have not reached before, which means that they are more likely to be elected to these offices than players who have reached these offices before.

    • During evaluation, players will receive an internal fame bonus for offices they have not reached before, which means that they are more likely to be elected to these offices than players who have reached these offices before.

Sheriffs Monument

Since fame points will no longer be an openly comparable value, and the new election system will lead to more fluctuating individual fame point balances, the way the Sheriffs Monument works will have to change.
  • Instead of fame, the number of collected achievement points will determine Sheriffs’ positions on the monument.
    • Event achievement points are excluded from the calculation.
  • Newly-elected first-time Sheriffs will appear at the top of the monument for three consecutive days, no matter their achievement points. This is to ensure that a proper Sheriff party can be held!
  • The Top 50 Sheriffs according to achievement points will be shown in the monument listing.
  • New achievements: With achievement points becoming the new benchmark figure on the Sheriffs Monument, we want to give you more ways to rack up your score! Stay tuned…

T-Rex Coming to Silver Lily's Emporium (and more)

Laeticia Sceatta is not resting on her laurels of being the talk of the town. Instead, she is busy preparing new exciting items to be offered through her store in central Dinoville!
  • New clothing items will be added.
    • The selection of items is planned to be seasonal, i.e. some items might only be available for a certain time before they reappear again at a later date.
    • Many of these items will only be available to players who have reached the office of Sheriff before.
    • There will be even more items in the future that are not limited to clothing. Stay tuned…
  • Filters and search will be added to the store window due to the greater selection of items.
  • This is a big one: T-Rex is coming to the Emporium, and it will not be exclusive to Sheriffs!
    • The office of Ranger is required for purchase.

Now hold on! Does everyone who has merely managed to become a Ranger get a T-Rex cheap?!

NO!

If you earned Silver Crowns solely by being elected a Ranger again and again, you would need to be elected several hundred times to afford the T-Rex from Silver Lily’s Emporium… It’s not impossible, but it is safe to say that this would take you several years of time.
Remember that higher offices provide greater amounts of Silver Crowns, with the office of Sheriff granting the largest amount in a single election. So, as you try to rise to higher and higher offices via the new election system at the Town Hall, you'll automatically collect lots and lots of Silver Crowns ‒ even if you never make it to Sheriff, you'll eventually be able to afford the T-Rex! And that’s a promise.

"There will be even more items in the future that are not limited to clothing. Stay tuned…"

Does that mean there will be items never seen before in the game? Armor level? 🤔

Are event achievement points excluded? What if some players have the same achievement points? How do you decide who comes first?

Highway originally said that event achievements will make a difference. But taking into account that there will be more achievements... well maybe it's not necessary xd

New application process!
  • Applications are no longer made for a specific office, the only choice is between Street, District and Town (as available).
Will Street, District & Town offices be equally rewarding or most "Silver Crowns" still gonna be earned from "Town" offices?
Will Street, District & Town be starting, running & ending simultaneously?

Offices are no longer organized in a strictly pyramidal structure, but the order of offices in their ranking remains the same.
Which will give more "Silver Crowns": Governor [top district] or Assistant Deputy [bottom town]?

Similar to auctions, you spend fame points on your application but cannot see directly what other players are spending.
    • For the new election system it will be necessary that the Fame value of other players is no longer visible via their profile.
So we can't see what players are spending, and we can't see what is their full fame amount. Does this mean that Everyone will be able to still see who are the people applying for elections regardless of how much they spent?

At the end of a Street/District/Town evaluation period, players will be ranked according to the fame points they spent in applications. Then, the game will assign them a position from the list of offices according to their ranking.
Is there still going to be a deadline to prevent people from joining & scoring a decisive win at last minute?

    • During evaluation, players will receive an internal fame bonus for offices they have not reached before, which means that they are more likely to be elected to these offices than players who have reached these offices before.
Does this that for players who are already sheriffs; any fame they invest but didn't help them secure a win is completely lost?

@Highway or @Narokath anyone that can answer these questions.

Pero los logros ''normales'' todos que sean sheriff pueden llegar al pico maximo, la diferencia esta en los puntos de logros de los eventos

So we can't see what players are spending
In auctions you can just keep rising your fame until you overbid someone, although in elections I think it will change change
Does this that for players who are already sheriffs; any fame they invest but didn't help them secure a win is completely lost?
I guess if sheriffs didn't invest enough fame to become sheriffs again, they would win other office positions if I understood the concept correctly

Huii there are a lot of questions comin in. Seems we did not describe it clearly enough how it should work.

And whoever is sheriff will already win a token reward?
You will not get token rewards automatically. A sheriff can directly apply to the town election tier if he wants to earn tokens. Depeding on his fame rank position in the town list he will get the a free seat in the office or none if not enough fame was put into the application. But a sheriff can also decide to apply for the street tier or discrict tier to increase his chances, but will not get as much tokens as in the town tier. (Risk vs Reward)

maybe should we can know the price of the rex with silver crown ? for get an idea of how much election we will have to do
Currently the T-Rex token price is set to be around 20-50k. Its not fully final as the exact calculations are not finished yet. It will certainly remain difficult to unlock the rex but better to controll for the player as he continuesly can progress towards it.

Question 1
Are we going to see implementation of part 2 before 2023?
Question 2
Apart from being listed high on the monument, what are the other benefits of having high number of achievement points?
Question 3
Can we have different grades of jump links that have varying jump length and naturally cost more SC.
Question 4
Can we expect to see part 3 this year?
1. Yes we hope to get it ready this year.
2. Its a hall of fame of the best players on the server. Apart from your hologram you will see in the town center when P1 there are not more benefits planned.
3. Not planned at the moment.
4. Not likely as might get quite complex when fully designed and certainly get testing heavy. But part 3 could get a public PTR for better testing it.

Remember that Tokens can be bought at Fred Ex! A prepared player (financially) can get tokens fast.
That is only an expetion for this years Fred Ex as long as part 2 is not yet released. Tokens wil only be aquirable from the townhall one part 2 is released.

1. So it means it will be necessary to win street and then district once to be able to apply for town? I don't know if I understood it correctly.
2. Similar question about winning sheriff, if some player actually has the most of the fame, but he didn't win marshal before, then he won't be able to win sheriff right?
3. Does it mean that player will get fame bonus daily or in what period of time, I don't know if I understood it correctly at all.
1. Yes that is right you need to raise up in ranks similar on how I currently is. But on lower tiers (street, disctrict) there will be a little more top positions to reduce the choke points of the pyramids we currently have live. And the fame bonus for players that did not win a certain office yet will make it better to progress as well.

2. Yes that is correct. He wil then get the best position he is allowed to get. (one above his best achieved office seat)

3. Fame will directly given to the player during gameplay at the moment when the customizaion wears down. Here is an example with made up numbers: You have a shirt that is 100% in good condition. It will give you a total of 1000 fame once it is worn out to 0%. If you have played it down to 50% you got 500 fame by that.

@Highway Since the rex is one of the main reasons why the sheriff's party exists, with this new system it will no longer be the same.
Is it not because they are shown with his dinosaur on the monument for everybody to see? Feedback on that would be good.

1. On what types of factors will the number of seats be adjusted? Can you give an idea or examples?
2. What type of information? An example would be good here.
3. How much Silver Crown will we get per Office?
1. Server activity, townhall applications and more. Still not final yet. But we try to have a system that is not easy to manipulate. But we might also settle for a manual system.
2. Once the application phase come towards the end and after no players are allowed to put in their application (half of the period) more and more information are given out for the players that are in the election.

Here are some examples that are rolled out step by step and shows the most desired ones at the last minute. Fixed values based on a fixed time date, no dynamic changes.
  • Total amount of players applied
  • Average fame invested by all players in the election
  • Delta of fame difference below and above ( in percentage)
  • Current office seat you would get at the current time
  • ...
About street/district/town I think it works same as current offices, but instead of applying for office, players will apply for sections/parties or something like that, but I too would like to see more explanation.
Yes that is correct. Basically you will have 3 lists when players are ranked by their fame (street, discrict, town)
A new player is be able to apply to the street tier list at first. Once he won the highest rank there he can if he wants to apply the next time for the disctict tier and so on. The higher the tier is the higher are the rewards and the election times are longer. Token rewards do not incrase linear right now and exponential.

"There will be even more items in the future that are not limited to clothing. Stay tuned…"

Does that mean there will be items never seen before in the game? Armor level? 🤔
Yes we have some nice stuff planned to be added. Not just clothing but also more items to shape the game world or other nice things. :cheeky:

Are event achievement points excluded? What if some players have the same achievement points? How do you decide who comes first?
Yes If players have the same achievement points we will include event points as a additional metric + other ones. But that is not 100% defined yet.

1. Will Street, District & Town offices be equally rewarding or most "Silver Crowns" still gonna be earned from "Town" offices?
2. Will Street, District & Town be starting, running & ending simultaneously?
3. Which will give more "Silver Crowns": Governor [top district] or Assistant Deputy [bottom town]?
4. So we can't see what players are spending, and we can't see what is their full fame amount. Does this mean that Everyone will be able to still see who are the people applying for elections regardless of how much they spent?
5. Is there still going to be a deadline to prevent people from joining & scoring a decisive win at last minute?
6. Does this that for players who are already sheriffs; any fame they invest but didn't help them secure a win is completely lost?
1. No most rewarding are the top offices. See above.
2. No they will have different election times. Street has the shortest while town has the longest election period.
3. See Above
4. You will not be able to see other players that have applied to the townhall tiers and not the fame they spend. See above for a bit more info.
5. Yes about half the election time no new players can add their application. The dollar price to apply to a townhall tier also increases the more the election time has passed. So adding your application early is advised.
6. Fame is returned when an application will not result in an office seat in the end of the election. This helps players to get a office seat on the next election as they can add more fame on top of the returned fame.

Hope that clears it up a bit ;)

BTW dont use that @ stuff to get more attention. We read you posts regardless of that ;)
