Very helpfull and detailed feedback on the topic so far. Keep it rolling :)
You have to take this opportunity to make the necessary change that the game requires, take advantage of the high activity and that the community is really interested in the forum. The idea of the game is very original and in context dino storm has a lot of potential, although it may be difficult for you to make big changes we need them !!
I love the game

Another suggestion that I am sure everyone will like, has to do with the game chat, which seems to implement a function to create groups of "private" chats. Currently clans use inactive chats from other regions to communicate, and nothing prevents rival clans from entering that chat and reading decisions or strategies. :idea::idea::idea:

A muchos de aquí les encanta la idea de que equilibren las armas y a los dinos.

- Que hagan que los niveles bajos no maten a los niveles altos.

- Que equilibren bien la Gattling ya que es un arma muy ''OP'' y es la única que se usa, bajen le los 8segs de confusión no mas de 4seg.

- El Parasaurio es uno de los dinosaurios mas olvidados de la comunidad y es completamente raro ver a alguien que lo tenga de dinosaurio principal es por eso que ese dino necesita mejoras para volver lo un dinosaurio a la par del Pachy o el Centrosaurio.

- El Carnotauro al igual que el Parasaurio es un dinosaurio olvidable, son muy pocos que lo usan (yo por ejemplo xd) es un dinosaurio débil, sus 5segs de carnicería no sirven, el Carno estaba mucho mejor con sus 10segs, pero ahora es un chiste, deberían devolverle sus 10segs para que el dino vuelva a ser bueno.

- Seria bueno que le pongan armaduras a los dinosaurios, así como al Ankylo, dependiendo de su vida que tena una cantidad de armadura, si el dino tiene mucha vida que tenga poca armadura, si tiene poca vida que tenga mucha armadura, o no se, solo es una idea, de igual manera seria bueno que le colocaran armaduras.

- Quisiera que metan dinos nuevos por Ej: Ceratosaurus, Allosaurus, Majungasaurus, Skorpiovenator, Etc. <3

- Nuevas apariencias para los dinosaurios, desde el lvl 20-55 no cambian y ya es algo muy repetitivo de ver y aburrido.

- Nuevas apariencias para las armas, ya que la Yager y la Cortarrollos cambian 2 veces desde 20-50 y 54-55, es algo que queremos en las demás armas.

- Queremos los viejos mapas de regreso, ya es muy aburrido ir en un solo camino por los 5 mapas, si te llegas a quedar sin Dino Dolares tienes que recorrer a pie todos los mapas hasta llegar a tu destino, usar los teletransportadores se volvió algo aburrido, es por eso que queremos que regresen los viejos mapas y las zonas de recuperación y que los portales queden como una opción.

Como dijo Agusdim, aprovechen que estamos un poco mas activos e interesados por la actualización uwu

No estoy de acuerdo con eso de darle armadura a todos los dinos, xq lo unico que estariamos haciendo seria tocar valores como se hace siempre, yo quiero algo nuevo..

I have some questions for the community:

  • Is it currently possible to win a combat using Melee attack? (Dino Strength)

  • If no, would you prefer that melee attack make a comeback? or Ranged attack (Weapon damage only) is good enough for you?

  • And, what would you suggest to improve the gameplay in a way that could make Melee attack possible again?

  • It is possible to win a combat using Melee Attack but under limited circumstances, for example, when you are a T-Rex user, and the opposing user is using Ankylosaurus. With a combination of Penetration Tech, Strength Implant and Dino-Defense Tech, I have always managed to defeat the Ankylosaurus in Close combat, with Gatling's confusion skill. Also, if the opposing user is inexperienced using Coelophysis, and comes into close combat with a T-Rex, the chances for T-Rex to win is very high. BUT, this is a very rare scenario. Most of the users prefer Ranged Combat which is personally very annoying for me. A Dinosaur in a Dinosaur PvP Game is just acting like a tool to survive, rather than doing any damage. It should have a 50 % contribution to the PvP taking place, rather than 20-30 % contribution.

  • Yes, of course. I loved the Melee attack before the BIG Update Pt. I, the dinosaur also played an equal role as a weapon in the PvP.

  • First and foremost thing which I think should be done, is to remove the Damage Limitation completely, or to rebalance it. I am a Level 55 T-Rex User with Level 55 Damage Clothes and Vio Boosters, but a Level 50 User is able to do more damage to me than what I do to him, even with Level 50 Damage Clothes.
    Secondly, the range value of every gun should be decreased, along with Aim values, so that users come in close combat on their own to do more damage.

yes and no. it depens on what the other players have as IMPL and techs. if u use a pachy/ brachi then u cant win with melee. as in the most combats players use long range and aswell using dinos for stuns as like in the anky, pachy and brachi / bronto.

i would like to see more close combat then far range. But like most players they have there own strategy wich is ofcourse normal in every game. If u want to make Melee attack more possible then the range of long distance gun should be lowerd. or atleast the melee should have a small buff from maybe 5% or 10%.

i hope u can do something with my feedback

It is not that players "prefer" ranged combat, the reality is that close combat is almost impossible, not all players have rex, the second option is Carno, but unlike rex, Carno cannot soplay and lock a rival against a wall.

I definitely prefer melee attack, but in the current meta it just isn't worth it with most dinos.
It's only doable when you start with a full EP bar and the enemy is caught by surprise. And it only worked with coelo for me. With the same set of clothes, implants and techs my rex died. Another scenario where it might be feasible is in war with coelo, because it's harder to click on it in the chaos.

Suggestions:
-The higher the dino damage, the slower the enemy becomes by it.
-Higher dino damage should fill the EP bar faster(might already be in the game, but could be amplified a bit).
-Dino bleed should cause a slight slowdown.
-Some dinos need more defensive features so they have a chance(rex).
-Maybe claws implant could be like precision, but for dinos. I don't think people would use it instead of strength, but at least the clothes won't be thrown away immediately.
-Paralyze effect for any weapon skill(without extra power).
-Freezer tech rework, because it's inconsistent and people can't rely on it in pvp.

Not exactly melee related, but:
-Focus could be the counter for agility(it only affects 'miss' shots and not 'dodge') .
-Dino and weapon reflector rework (same problem as freezer)
-Armor should not be 100% eliminated by penetration. It should reduce armor by 70-80%, so it still gives some chance to the armor user.

Today I was reading the description of the cold resistance implant, and there it was written that it offers the dinosaur the "chance to resist" Cold and other attributes of the same type, I honestly never used this implant, because it appears to be useless , but I wanted to ask: Do they only reduce slowness of the cold attribute or does it also reduce that of gatling or parasaurus as well? if it reduces, why didn’t they put that feature on the stability implant? (stability would be much more useful if it reduced not only stun and paralysis, but also slowness and even confusion in the gatling.
In addition, the cold attribute works more when used by parasaurus bandits in maujak mountains than when used by players, which also leaves it as a useless technology.

My suggestion would be to add stability to reduce all group controls in the game and assign the heat / cold resistance regulator another function (such as a chance to apply an effect that burns the target hit for a period of time or, in the latter case, to exclude the implant from the game) :U.

In my opinion, it is not at all advantageous to exchange any of the "meta" implants for the heat regulator, so I think the attribute to be added to the stability implant, which would make it a great anti group control and could be a counter for skill 3 (fire curtain) of gatling that if used by 2 people on 1 same target, end up paralyzing it.

- No, it's not. Dino strength is almost useless in PvP rn.

- I'd like melee's comeback too. Dinos feel like pigs for slaughter.

- Back then, there was a movement penalty for gun shots and coelo still did good. U can bring backthat penalty.

For developers, changes in clan behavior? An alliance system is not very difficult really, states can be established:
-Aliado: Allowing to activate or deactivate allied fire between that clan and which one belongs to (or that the same player from his Friends list activates / deactivates "allied" duels)
-Neutral or stateless: Keep it like this now.
-Enemies: Simply those clans that declare themselves enemies, their nicknames are red or have a badge that allows them to be distinguished from others.
For me something like this would greatly improve the gameplay :geek::geek::cheeky:

This benefits higher level portals, making the game more competitive :eek::eek::oops:

It is not that players "prefer" ranged combat, the reality is that close combat is almost impossible, not all players have rex, the second option is Carno, but unlike rex, Carno cannot soplay and lock a rival against a wall.
Carnos can recovery health using Carnage Attack, which the Rex Users cannot do.

A good way to facilitate melee combat is to increase the ease of activating the effect of cold technology, because it hardly works and slightly decrease the percentage of reach technology that is very large, thus facilitating the dinos that need to approach the enemy to useyour skills like rex, parasaurus, carnotarus, which are currently the most disadvantaged in pvp

One thing I forgot: Dinos react much slower now when they are in attacking range. They attacked immediately in the past.

I think melee pvp would be more possible if you repair that bug in the stuns attacks, for example coelo and pachy can do the stun in close range even if we are biting them. Even the mobs (coelo, pachy, centro and bandits forms) from GF, Mokon, GV and CCV do that. And you need to reduce the range of the gatling skills, it is supossed to only work in close range but the players can use that skills in far range. And maybe delete the slowdown effect from gatt without extra or adding it only with extra. Another option is a rework for the heat regulator implant, i use that implant several times and i win against far range users, but it isn't very efective because it doesn't have a high chance of avoid the couldown effect, I think it would work better if it reduces the slowdown effect to a second like stability do to the stuns

1st: To facilitate the exchange of implants and not waste time searching between the pages, the implants could be grouped into a single implant, and when clicking with the right button, a tab with all implants of the same type would open. but when clicking on the implant and then on the equip, the top level implant would be equipped with the dinosaur (this scheme also applies to dinosaurs, weapons and technology).
2nd: When a portal is attacked, a notification would appear on the screen for all members of the clan that controls the portal, showing the name of the portal being attacked and its percentage.

About the second idea, maybe at war, the notifications would be "crazy" since many portals would be attacked, then the settings could be added an option to disable them.

Una idea para los clanes que considero que vendría bien que esta implementado en otro de los juegos de Splitscreen Studios (Pirate Galaxy) es poder crear una alianza con los clanes ya que en muchas guerra los Aliados terminan muertos por el fuego Cruzado además de tener un chat de alianza donde los aliados pueden comunicarse y poder defender las torres aliadas :RE

You are gonna balance the dinos and guns, but are you gonna give some reworks/buffs to underused implants and techs? Claws literally screws you over and shock is almost never used
