I dont have the exact numbers at hand but with each level you need more items to upgrade your dino/weapon. But the drop chances of the required items are thr same, so that a constant progress can be achieved.

as for a name for the new gun i got one idea Railgun or derailer just a couple thoughts for the gun name and when will the update be done if its happening right now id like to know so i can get into the game as soon as its up and running again thnx
