What's the point of having inactive servers.

Hello Devs,
This is a genuine question.
How about we close inactive servers and shift all the current players to active servers?

(not the best idea but others can give better ideas which can be done with minimal effort or something..)

What's the point of grinding in inactive servers..

It feels so lonely and soulless.. though I like being alone but it got to a point i started yapping with Norah campbell and varg vaettir and taking photos with them.

Inactive servers don't feel lively.. I hope you understand what I mean..

Please tell us something about this, at least if you had consider about it in your plans...

Players be spending it in active server than inactive ones more like who u gonna flex ur skins on?? brontops and smilods??

Not really, like ok i get your point but as a player who likes to play on inactive servers (its too crowded for me on active ones) it would be bad if my inactive and peaceful server became suddenly overcrowded. Like dont get me wrong on my acc i also play on active servers like eu1 and am1 but sometimes i like to hunt in peace while no one is disturbing me, where i can have full map for myself and just mind my own business and enjoy the game.

Also if we were about to merge servers how would u solve the fact that lets say someone for example has rex on both inactive servers that were about to be merged, both baby rexes and wh full of exclusive skins? Like bro? what if those both acc have wh with like 50 pages or more?

The only solution for that, so the player wouldnt feel bad and basically tricked by support and feeling that he wasted his money, would be summing up all of the pages into once and the duplicates of skins being refund with gc - same with baby dinos as well as refunding 20k sc (from duplicate big rex) that could be used on any server this person want to.

In any other way, merging would be only benefitial for those who play on only one server, all others who achieved something on more than 1 server would be in big disadvantage and basically would just get tricked.

Merging should be a choice for an individual then or just make jump links for server to server

If they can remove supplies when it was important for revenue, I'm sure they can arrange something for this as well (I think server Jump links are best choice imo)

Competition is fierce on active servers that there are a small demographic that choose the lesser active server to play on and build their account while collecting stuff.

Not everything is about flexing, some people like to collect.

Merging servers is impossible from a technical point.

Highway or Alewx already mentioned it in the past (6 month ago or so)

Server jumps are already in game. If u Open your game account, u can choose which server u want play.

@Sunshine.. man i really swear I dont understand what's so funny in my message above. I personally know many players that have sheriff on more than one server and even achieved that way before when sc were a thing. They literally spent A LOT of their money and A LOT of their time on those servers to get them. Any other way of merging would be harmful for them.

Are you perhaps jealous of that? Well honestly it's not my business at all and i dont give a fuck about it. We are discussing searious matter here that if it comes it would affect all of the players in game, if you have something to say about it just speak up and dont hide your own opinion like a coward.

there is no such "inactive" servers. just busy and less busy. and even if you like and thrive on war you also go on other server where peace roams to enjoy some calm and quiet time to recharge your batteries. therefore there's no need to delete any server.

I just think it funny that you said you like to play on inactive servers and have the whole map to yourself, when an inactive server shouldn't even exist, after all it means something is wrong (lack of players). Honestly, I don't care about merging servers, the developers themselves have already said that this is not possible. (you are worrying for nothing or you just like to put on a show). There are much more important things that developers should worry about than merging servers.

As the leader of "dead" server as my love friend who made an post. I will say just clear it isnt problem of server enemy are gaved up n left sv bcs of own mistakes and ego. If ppl would respect each other it would be diffrent. Just problem here is ppl Who came to dead servers the most are from diff Eu n am servers it isnt their own first sv. Even when u want choose server as first as new player its always show u e1 so new players doesnt know any other servers. Game need more stuffs for make ppl back new dino new Guns new skins not new lvls or new map. Its same stuffs same game since beta nothing changed. Bcs as I saw ppl think if they will come from diff sv to "dead" will earn stuffs faster than from own sv when they need waiting 1 2 years. Merge servers is idiotic idea or even close sv bcs still ppl are playing still ppl spend money even on "dead sv" just levia is mad of that he cant get sherrif on e1 bcs ppl wont be idiot to get scam here bcs levia scammed own sherrif on e4. He didnt win it
