With all the buzz surrounding Elite Units and Cyberbosses lately, it was only a matter of time before I turned my models into bosses (though don't expect me to make them cybernetic lol). I’m also back to exploiting poor Acro again—please bear with me, it’s just my favorite dinosaur!

Based on community feedback and some fine-tuning, I’ve put together a "rework" of the Acro. Having too many thin spikes didn't make much sense since they disappear at a distance, and honestly, they didn't quite fit the game’s art style (which favors thicker, more defined spikes).

I’ve also designed its growth phases for this concept, ranging from the juvenile stage all the way to the adult boss form.

As you can see, there are some changes. The most obvious one is where the NPC would sit; I’ve added thicker spikes and a bit more muscle mass. The Acro is a naturally striking dinosaur because of its ridge, and I feel like I’ve finally nailed it making its back the true centerpiece of the design.

As mentioned before, I'm leaving you with its growth stages below. (Sketches are the property of @Petrizani Gianella :)

Lastly, I’ll leave you with a version of how it would look as a Cyberboss (it’s not actually 'cyber' at all, but you get the idea!)

I’ll eventually be uploading the same for the Spino and its variant, which I absolutely love! (Mirabilis, I love you! :=)

That’s all for now. I’ll let Acro rest for a while... (I think) WhatsApp Image 2026-02-27 at 21.09.08.jpeg

Also I loved the effort you put into this acro project, I sincerely hope this idea sees the light one day.

In my personal opinion (and this is just a matter of taste, definitely not hate) I actually liked the first Acro model a bit more However, youre absolutely right that if it were implemented, those tiny spikes would look weird from a distance. Switching to fewer, larger spikes was a great call since it fits the game's theme much better.

The growth stages look great, though I think the second phase could use a few more spikes Everything else is spot on! Also, please, brother, I’m begging you... add the Therizinosaurus next! it would be amazingg

Exactly how long does it take to pull this off? The work you've done is incredible

That’s amazing! How long did it take you to design it? It looks fantastic — I hope we can see something like this in Dino Storm someday!

@dragossauro

Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked it, my friend. Regarding whether they’ll actually implement it or not, I sincerely hope they publish one of the models.

However, I think it’s getting harder now with all this 'Cyber' focus. The issue is that they keep adding more content to the dinosaurs we already have—like the cybernetic parts, new cores, bosses, and all that. Those things make it much more complicated to introduce a brand-new dinosaur because the entire process would have to be repeated from scratch, which I see as a bit of an obstacle. That being said, I’m sure there will be solutions for this in the future; I have faith

You’re right! The first Acro model looked great, but if you actually tried to sit on it, you’d probably end up hurting your butt a little, lol. As for the growth stage models, they might be missing a few spikes here and there, but I think the final phase more than makes up for it with those larger, more striking ones! :)

Regarding the Therizinosaurus model... my current priority is finishing the Mirabilis variant and its growth stages. Once that’s done, I’m planning on a Stegosaurus, though that might change. But I will definitely be making a Therizinosaurus, Allosaurus, Yutyrannus, Baryonyx, and an Amargasaurus (those are the main ones I have in mind)

The time it takes me varies quite a bit. One day I might blast through a huge chunk of a model, but then I'll spend two weeks just trying to finish the tail. The thing is, I don’t have much free time, so I use what little I have to work on these models. But don’t worry—they’ll eventually keep coming out (I think)

I've always liked the idea of having a giant class dinosaur in the game, like Giganotosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus, or even Acrocanthosaurus. It would make much more sense for this species to be special, like T-Rex. T-Rex is just famous; it shouldn't be considered that special.

Hey man, thanks for the support, I really appreciate it.
Regarding what you said, you're right—the Rex isn't that 'special,' but at the end of the day, it's part of the game and holds Sheriff status.
Now that it can be purchased with Silver Crowns, here is my proposal: they should add more dinos that cost Silver Crowns, just like the Rex. I currently have 2 models finished (with a third one on the way, though it’s a Spino variant). As I mentioned in the post, the Acro should cost 7k Silver Crowns and the Spino 20k, just like the Rex (since it’s always been the Rex's main rival in terms of popularity). This would create more competition and, in turn, keep more people active while fighting for ranks and unlocking new dinosaurs.
I invite you to check out my other two models and some other ideas that I think are pretty cool! :)

I really like these ideas for adding new dinosaurs to the game, but every time I ask myself this question... are the creators of the game even considering adding new dinosaurs? If so, why aren't they giving us any hints or spoilers about this? I'm increasingly curious and impatient about this. I hope I'm not the only one who thinks or says this. 🤔

@Evyus I’d like to know the same thing—what's the hold-up? Every average player agrees on this: we need more dinosaurs added to the game

I had many ideas especially because I counted the species we have and I found that we have many more herbivores than carnivores.. so adding a new carnivorous dino like your carcharodontosaurus or gigantosaurus is not bad for the game.. here I say it sincerely but for me the spinosaurus as beautiful as it may be is too exaggerated, or it could require other elections to dislodge it and honestly I do not really want to do this as well as most of the players who sweated for the rex with real money also I would like to avoid

I see more of the baryonyx or suchomimus, both similar to the spinosaurus but less powerful 🤔🤔

The dinosaur presented here is an Acrocanthosaurus.
The Spinosaurus fits the game perfectly—actually, any dinosaur fits into this category. Absolutely any of them, and variety will always be a plus.
Adding the Spinosaurus or any other apex dinosaur on par with the Rex is a great idea because it reignites the competition for the Sheriff rank. At the same time, it gives the role more status, leading to more constant wars and increased activity across the servers

Hello,
Everyone knows we need new dinosaurs, new weapons, new maps, and everything else... but we just need patience. I have nothing more to say about it.

Greetings Evyus!

Hello,

Greetings Evyus!
I’m glad you’re giving a serious response, but every player has doubts about whether there will ever be new dinos. It’s been YEARS since a new one was released; there has only been one added dino, while the rest are just part of the base game.
What I’m trying to get at is: is it really that complex to add a new dinosaur? What’s the reason? Is it the engine? A lack of staff? Low profits that make further development not worth it?
Everything has a solution, man—like I’ve said before. If there are financial issues, you could set up a donation page to hire someone to do the work. I’m sure many people (myself included) would contribute to see new content.
You don’t need a new map to add new things; just change the mission rewards to include the new content.
Anyway, I’ve really enjoyed these recent updates, and I hope you guys keep it up! :)

I understand everyone's frustration; it's annoying to wait years for an update with a new dinosaur or a new weapon and it never arrives, and also not to have an answer as to why it's not coming. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for that (the reason why it's not coming).
