Yet another thoughtless update.

Frankly, I don't believe you when you say you received more positive than negative feedback on this update. I have already left and at least 15 accounts are going with me. We won't be back unless you fix what we're angry about. Tossing us something we don't care about instead of addressing the problems is just reinforcing the knowledge we have that ds couldn't care less about us or making the game better. I certainly doubt those new players are putting up hundreds of dollars on a game with so much negative feedback before they even know what the game is about. It's the long-time players who are paying full price for the coins who support this game and you've treated us unfairly for as long as I've played. Why should I continue to play this game? Somebody give me a good reason other than that ds thinks we're stupid and wants us to play in spite of their nonsense.

Like any other unfavorable update, this very drastic update will blow over and people will pay to play and win because their friends will. New players will dominate servers whether old players stay or quit because they won't care about changes since they didn't experience getting gold coins without buying them.
So Vomit will be right in a couple months, or even a few weeks, that the majority (new players) won't mind because they weren't spoiled like we were.

I doubt that since there is really nothing desireable about this game anymore. No attainable goal other than wearing pretty colors, no hope of winning elections, no way to get strong without paying and abysmal customer support. The game is dead.

Yeah, this whole attribute thing dropping along with fame is some straight up bull@*&#. No other MMO has the attribute go down unless you get KO'd or something. So now if I have a level 10 item I worked MONTHS to create, the attribute goes down to 0 after like a week or two.

It does not matter what compute you use. To get those offers you have to tell them information about yourself.They are data mining but you're basically feeding them the data instead of them taking it through malware. What company is going to pay ds (buy gold coins for you) without something in return? Ha! Silly me. We, the players have been doing that since they sold gold coins

Seeing as how you need somewhere in the range of 2000 items to triforge 1 level 10 item (only to have the stats go back to 0 in a matter of days) . . . That's what I'm most irritated about.

Well, there is a way to keep newly forged (after this update) items in perfect condition...
take them off before midnight so its attributes/fame won't decrease when you log in or crossover.

-- To improve the Warehouse telelport matrix feature, it could work both ways:
take things out of the warehouse if you don't want to travel / teleport to Dinoville.
This way, if you lose track of time and don't crossover before midnight,
you can take out worn items from the warehouse to keep your perfect items perfect.

Of course they will. Your ranger has daily fame loss whether you stay logged in or not. What is there to stop them from doing this with clothing for fame or attributes? I'm sure they'll find a way to do it to the stuff in your warehouse too.

I don't get why people continue to play games that are being "improved" to cost you (more) money to win (not to play as some people seem to believe).

And does anyone know exactly what this February 11th "improvement" means:
Daily fame bonus aggregation now works more precisely: fame bonus values are evaluated throughout the day.

Maybe they've already "fixed it", as lolchris said they will.

Here's an idea, Splitscreen, since you take away 3 attribute points per day, take away 1 AP every 8 hours (12am, 8am, 4pm). Of course, if a player doesn't log in all day, take away 3 AP when they log in as usual.

I love this game. The gold coins things is a bummer. but now it can more fair for smaller guys and as some people call it "noobs". But now the scale equalize. O the people attackting the "noobs" are the real noobs. Love this game will never quit.

The new map will come and it is bigger than GF/MK and cointains 1 more claim and some more spawns/teleporters. Level cap is increased to lvl 30 and having a lvl 30 dinosaur adds a new look: Armor.
But, thats very very VERY optimistic. Time for B. New updates will come and the price of basic boosters will be higher and the new map will be canceld because of technical problems They are going to get rid of the daily logins and start to make more "black" markets sales and more discounts. Then, they will announce it: Splitscreen closes Dinostorm and Steel Legions because players where leaving and stopped spending money and will focus more on Pirate Galaxy. End of DS
