I have been playing Dino Storm for a few months now and mostly just enjoy it.
I have always liked Dinosaurs and Cowboys and the game isn't too challenging. :)
Apparently Growing Up is optional!

However, a few weeks ago I let on that I was over 50 and had grand kids.
Most of the players that chat in game seem to be teenagers.
It was sweet when they offered to help me across the road!
I even named my clan Old Timers.

It was fun at first but now I'm starting to feel like the creepy old guy hanging round the kiddies playground.

It would be easy enough to make up a new character and lie about my age (or just keep quiet) but that would be wrong (to my mind).

Are there other grown ups playing Dino Storm or is it really just a kids game ?

I have some good news chris. There are lots of people that i know who are well above their teenage days. I have met people who are 35, 20 and over. And i dont think being 50 might be creepy because after all, dinosaurs and cowboys are old things.

It's not creepy to be 50+ and still play MMO/MMORPG games. I'd still be doing so if I was your age, don't worry buddy. ;) Come to Europe_4 with Ludiiicrous, and let my child-ish 20+ acts keep you company.

I'm actually fascinated that someone has been confident enough to say that they are not a teenager, or even an adult who would be considered by others to be "old enough" to play Dino Storm. You keep up your good work, and don't let anyone down if they DO say you're over age.

No one is too old to play any game. I'll admit that it was only yesterday that I was playing kids games like Hello Kitty Dress-Up. Can't blame me though. Felix Kjellberg isn't exactly the most unresistant YouTuber who will NOT encourage you to play games like that. :geek:
Hehehe.

I won't say my official age due to personal reasons, but I will say that I am not a teenager. Even though I appear to act like a 7 year old, who will rage a lot from all the Outlaw's running around. Because I'm just fabulous like that. :geek:

All I'm trying to say is, don't be afraid of what your age is and how old the people around you are. It doesn't make you anything but a normal person/citizen who is seeking only to feel involved in the greatest games online. It is not your fault if your hobbies are to play games like Dino Storm, there's no one to blame. Dino Storm is probably the only browser game that's Multiplayer and actually MMO.

Oh, by the way..

I'll escort you across Gold Fields if you need some assistance, just in case you and your dinosaur feel a little bit lazy. ;) :D :sneaky:

There are actually a surprising number of people in their 40s, 50s, and maybe even older who play this game. I guess it shows that dinosaurs fascinate people of all ages.

Thanks you all for the vote of confidence.
Looks like I can carry on playing for a while yet.

Me and Skippy (Coeliosaur) are almost up to Lvl 15 so I'm rather looking forward to exploring Green Volcano next.

See you around.

Try to get to level 20 before you go for Green Volcano buddy. I believe it's level 20's up there, would be a better to be prepared. ;)
