Update 1

In order to fix the game's item economy, we will need to shut down the servers for a longer time than usual.

All game servers will shut down at 11:30 UTC+2, and we expect them to stay offline for probably 24 hours, maybe longer.

Update 2

Rollback

The long downtime is necessary for the database rollback we will be doing. "Rollback" means that we will revert the game to the state it was in at 9:11 UTC+2 September 28 for our American and Asian game servers, and 12:11 UTC+2 September 28 for our European game servers.

This means that you will lose all progress that you made in the game during the time that has passed since then.

When the game servers are back online, it will be like the past day in the game did not happen*.

We apologize for the inconvenience of losing a full day of progress in Dino Storm, but it is the best option to get rid of the large amounts of unrightfully obtained duplicated items in the game. We will think of a way to make up for this.

*Please note:
  • If you bought Gold Coins during that time and did not spend them yet, all your purchased Gold Coins will still be present in your account.
  • Gold Coins that you collected from quests in the game will not be preserved.
  • If you bought items in the game using purchased Gold Coins, we will reimburse you for those purchases. These reimbursements will be processed manually, so please allow us some time to do them after the servers are back online.

Update 3

Back Online

Great news! The rollback process could be completed much more quickly than we had anticipated.

All of our Dino Storm servers are back online!

Please keep the following in mind:
  • Your game account has been reset to the state it was in at 9:11 UTC+2 September 28 for our American and Asian game servers, and 12:11 UTC+2 September 28 for our European game servers. In simple terms, your account has lost about one day of progress if you had been playing past those dates.
  • We will think of a way to make up for this. We will keep you updated about it.

Update 5

2-Day Rollback

We are terribly sorry, but it turned out that the 1-day rollback we did before did not complete successfully -- some inconsistencies meant that we failed in doing a clean reset of the game.

What we need to do now is perform a 2-day rollback, which means that we will revert the game to the state it was in at 9:11 UTC+2 September 27 for our American and Asian game servers, and 12:11 UTC+2 September 27 for our European game servers.

Unfortunately, this means that you will lose all progress that you made in the game in about two full days.

We expect the game servers to be back online in about 4-5 hours.

We are truly sorry that you will be losing two full days of progress in Dino Storm. As we had mentioned before, we will try to make up for this loss. Please bear with us a little longer.

Update 6

Back Online With Extra Gold Coins

Dear rangers! Our second rollback process for today is complete, and this time we are triple-checking that everything is fine.

Our servers are coming back online again, one by one.

We have given extra Gold Coins to every game account that lost progress due to the rollback ‒ the more hours were lost, the more Gold Coins were given!

Please keep the following in mind:
  • Your game account has been reset to the state it was in at 9:11 UTC+2 September 27 for our American and Asian game servers, and 12:11 UTC+2 September 27 for our European game servers.
    • What this means is that nothing of what you did in the game past the mentioned dates up to now could be preserved. We hope our Gold Coins present can make up for this!
  • If you had bought items past the mentioned dates using purchased Gold Coins, we have already reimbursed your game account with the Gold Coins that you spent on said items, so that you can buy those items again.
P.S.: We would like to apologize not just to the players who have lost in-game progress due to the rollback procedure, but also for not being online for many hours now. We will think of a way to make up for this as well and keep you updated about it!
