why was this removed? and can you add it back?

The part in the UI that you are highlighting is mirroring the larger icon shown in the top right corner of the ranger profile window. That icon is no longer corresponding to which office is currently inhabited/the current position on the Sheriffs monument -- this is why the special gold/silver/bronze versions of the Sheriff icon are no longer used in the game.

The change was introduced with our big 2023 Townhall overhaul, when we replaced showing the "current office" with showing the "highest reached office" in the ranger profile. The Sheriffs Monument has since been highlighting only the top position "Most Excellent Sheriff" as well.

I personally like these icons, too; maybe I can have a look into whether they could be given a useful new purpose in the game -- no promises!

It would be cool to bring them back, people are farming achievements to get on the monument, so a small visual reward like that is good idea
