Request to make the game officially available on Linux

Hello everybody. I would like to know if it would be possible for developers to create a version of the game that run on Linux operating systems, since apparently the game is made in Java, which is cross-platform due to the JVM, etc.

The reason I ask this is that I am also a software developer and I recently had to switch to Windows to play Dino Storm again, as the Wine version doesn't run very well, and to be honest, using Windows to Programming isn't really that good.

I may be wrong, but the game doesn't have to be available as a .deb, .rpm, Flatpak, AppImage, Snap or something specific to run on Linux, i guess. Making the game available on Steam would already solve the situation since Valve's Proton make Windows games on Steam run on Linux as good as if they are running on a Windows system, it would also bring new players to the game since Steam is the biggest video game digital distribution service.
