Possible correction to the XP Gel?

A friend recently asked me whether the XP Gel percentage is correct, because according to our calculations, it does not seem to take into account the base XP with Dino Storm Plus, only the XP without the bonus.

Example:


In the image above, it is possible to see that with Plus, the mission yielded around 8,280 XP points. However, the Gel grants the player 100% of the experience gained from missions or from defeating enemies.

It is double xp for the quests as well. I think it just displays the total amount ( which Is already doubled) and shows with the + what part was the extra.

Shouldn't the experience of the quest and DS+ be doubled? So 2700exp from quest + 2700 from DS2 and then 5400 because you've used an experience gel?

check the exp they display would be max when quest is in progress vs exp when quest is finished for best comparison.
