New Dino: ACROCANTHOSAURUS / New Content Ideas #2.1

Hi everyone! I posted something recently, but I couldn’t hold back, so here comes a follow-up post

So, where to start? I’ve been working on a project—an idea to add new content to the game—and I decided, together with a friend, to create the Acrocanthosaurus
The Acrocanthosaurus was a large theropod dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period. It had a distinctive high ridge of neural spines along its back, giving it a sail-like appearance. This predator could reach up to 12 meters (40 feet) in length and likely hunted large herbivorous dinosaurs

Why should it be added to the game? I explained this well in my first post: we need more dinosaurs, more content, in a game that currently only has 8 dinosaurs in total



The Acro is perfect for the game—adding another carnivore is ideal. Currently, we only have 3 carnivores: T. rex, Carnosaur, and Coelophysis, and 5 herbivores: Parasaur, Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Centrosaurus, and Pachycephalosaurus


Believe me, you wouldn’t want to face it in a 1v1.

Where can you get it?

Ideally, it could be added in Valla de Garrafía with the NPC Saga Windheim. To unlock it, just complete all the missions until you reach 100%, like usual


Another good option is to make it available at Lily's Emporium for 10,000 silver crowns

To the community: guys, share your ideas and projects for the game! I’ve been playing this since you could load gold on your phone, haha, and I’m still playing it, so I still have hope—don’t give up. With that said, I’d love your support on future projects. If you have any ideas, let me know, and I’ll try to make them—models, weapons, even pets.

Follow me for more models and projects; your input would really help in choosing the next dinosaurs or weapons. This time it was the Acrocanthosaurus with the green lava skin, which is my favorite, haha. But next time, it could have feathered skins or even striped ones.

To the developers: if you’re reading this, I’d love for you to actually implement these ideas—not just for me (which would be amazing and a dream come true), but for all players. We’re tired of unnecessary updates and skins. From the bottom of my heart, and out of my love for the game, please don’t let players leave—give them what they want and listen to them.

Add more dinosaurs, more weapons, more stability in PvP, and make leveling up a bit easier. These things make the average player happy and keep them playing. I say this out of love for the game, and I believe this is a great first step to start considering the community’s voice in Dino Storm. Thank you for reading and for creating this amazing game.

Exactly, that’s what I’m aiming for—to make some noise. They added cyber dinosaurs, so what’s stopping them from adding new dinosaurs and weapons?

The problem is that for a new dinosaur to come, a new map is required, i.e. new map + new dinosaur weapon + new level. There are too many players on 2-3 servers in the game, other players will not want the new map.

Why new map is required to add more dinos? We have TONS of NPC's on already existing maps that as a final reward give only Gold Coins. We can simply just replace those with unlocking new dinos or guns /techs imps cosmetic (maybe even new type of cosmetic that allows us to change colour of robotic parts on cyber dinos as well as cyber rex roar colour).

You’re right, there’s no need for new maps. Any NPC that gives gold is fine to change and give a dino/weapon instead. I have a lot of missions I haven’t done just because they give gold

I've written about this before, but a new map doesn't necessarily have to mean new lvls.
A mini map (for example size of Dinoville) with level 55 would be enough (ofc if developers are not planning further lvls).
Current 55 area is too small and it is difficult to hunt there in a larger group.

We need to make a lot of noise for the devs to hear us. We don’t need repetitive events or more skins; we want new dinosaurs.

And about the other thing, thank you very much—I’ll publish more models.

I had some ideas about the skills:

1 FRENZY STRIKE: It would be three quick bites

Extra Power:the bites would hit atleast 3 targets Applying the "wound" effect, this effect make the targets unable do heal from other negatives effects making them last longer, the a skill also aply "claws" to yourself to be able to hit multiple targets

2 APEX CHARGE: It Will run in the direction of the target roaring and tear a bite from It

Extra Power 1 Idea: give you 10% of every defensive status in the game (the value could be other 10% its just to Exemplify) like armor, agility, Stability etc.

Extra Power 2 Idea: If 10% in every defensive status is too much It could work this way:

Make every bite aply 1 Second of bleed and 1 Second of easy target for the target, not a big deal But combined with the fist skill would be great

Just some ideas, beacuse i loved the model and the Idea overall, Everyone feel free to add their skill ideas too.

Those abilities sound really good. Personally, PvP isn’t my strong suit, but I would die to take pictures with the Acro in Mokon.

Thanks, brother. Personally, I don’t like cyber-dinosaurs; they’re metallic skins that look more like a skin. They should have added the armor like in the trailer.

On the other hand, yes, it seems that the Spino could be the next model I make. I couldn’t tell you how long it will take, but it’s a fact that it will be possible.
