Why should the filter stay once you finished your search and interaction?
For clan page inventory (Mainly why I'm here), it is about speed and efficiency.
- If you want to send boosters to a member, all 7 of them, you can filter to show only clan boosters, then give all 7 quickly, with no interruptions and without having to swap pages lots of times in case clan inventory is full with fame items.
- if you want to send fame items to a member, same logic applies, and it is especially frustrating that we have swap member pages just to give x25 fame item, then repeat the process to send another x25. Previously we could have clan inventory fixed at one page and send all fame items from there, now we have to swap pages to avoid the boosters, or filter to fame items every time we send x25 fame items, adding to overall number of clicks required to completely clear inventory from fame items and making this process more frustrating than it already is.
For player inventory, nothing more than personal comfort.
- If you are in sheriff party and want to use Firework without swapping pages over and over, then you can use the filter and only seeing fireworks every time you open inventory.
- If you want to use cake boosts such as the speed (rainbow) cake, and you are in middle of combat, you don't want to swap multiple pages, or waste time typing "Cake" while your opponent is shooting you, you want that page to be pre-opened and ready, so if you are in middle of combat, and feel the need to use a cake boost, you can just open inventory and find cakes already in front of you to click and use, without filtering or going through pages to reach it.
In short, strategical benefits and comfort benefits, and time & effort saving benefits.
