Hello Dino Storm Team,
I’d like to suggest adding more regional payment options to the game. At present, the store only supports international credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club), PayPal, and paysafecard. While these work for some players, in many Asian countries a large number of people do not own credit cards, and PayPal is not always accessible or widely used. Because of this, a significant portion of the player base struggles to make in-game purchases.
A strong solution would be to introduce UPI (Unified Payments Interface) as a payment option. UPI is a real-time payment system that allows instant money transfers between bank accounts through mobile apps. It has grown massively in Asia, especially in countries like India, where it has become the default way to pay for both small and large transactions. UPI isn’t limited to just one app, it’s supported by platforms like Google Pay, Apple Pay and many more, all of which are used daily by hundreds of millions of people.
For example, with Google Pay, a player can link their bank account once and then make secure, instant payments simply by entering a PIN or scanning a QR code. This makes purchases fast, safe, and accessible without the need for credit cards or additional wallets. In many Asian regions, UPI-based systems have become the equivalent of what PayPal is in the West, a universally accepted, everyday payment method.
What gives me hope is that the team has already shown willingness to support regional payment methods. Recently, PIX was added for Brazilian players, which is a fantastic step in making the game more accessible. In the same way, adding UPI would open the door for a huge number of players across Asia who are eager to support the game but currently blocked by limited payment options.
Speaking as someone who, along with many others, has been playing Dino Storm for over a decade, I can confidently say this isn’t just a passing complaint. Long-time players have seen the game evolve, survive challenges, and adapt over the years. We know how much the community means to keeping the game alive. That’s why it feels important to raise this issue, not just for convenience, but for the long-term sustainability of the game and its player base in Asia.
From talking with other players in the community, I know I’m not the only one facing this issue. Many Asian players are willing to purchase Gold Coins but cannot because the existing payment options don’t reflect what we actually use daily. Integrating UPI would not only solve this accessibility gap but also encourage higher engagement and revenue for the game.
I hope the team considers this addition, as it would make a real difference for accessibility and show strong support for the game’s growing Asian player base.
