Low fps

What kind of trickery is it that my 3070ti can't run the game at fixed 62.5 fps?
Other games run fine. Even more demanding ones.

Even if DS is cpu intensive, that shouldn't be a problem for me. This is actually worrying.

you need monitor with refresh rate above 60 hz if you want that actually.

Have my laptops monitor for example :
(unfortunately i would need to fix screen to see ds propertly on that but such is life xD)

ye no that isnt the problem as i said. there is something seriously wrong with how the game itself is optimised. i can easily run games in 2k quality but as soon as i open ds, naaaah.

Because ds runs on same stuff since the beginning but i for real saw myself only have 62.5 fps if i use 144 hz only also if you look at how setting change as you go change screen resolution in game itself you will see quality of what we see withing game changes as does fps.

ye. will investigate further. i mean the game still runs on the 55 - 62.5 range but why even drop to 55? Its like when you cap the fps of a game they will be stable on 60, 75, 144, 240 etc. bcs the card is capable of pushing beyond. those microstutters on dinostorm are so noticable.

Yea i use 3050 rtx myself and fps drop is even to 40ish depending on resolution of screen
by that i mean as if change this settings btw.

any raytracing "capable" card should have absolutely no problem running a dinosaur game on the highest frames. Guess its the engine.

Yea this game is unpredictable in terms of fps depending on what we use(which resolution or even which card as i have myself discovered in amd vs nvidia forced on ds)

That's true, if I set my monitor to 60 Hz my fps in ds will be stabilized at 60, if I push my monitor to a higher Hz my fps goes up to 62.5

Exactly that ds fps is capped based on our monitor refresh rate.
