Losing Dino Dollars

I honestly do not like this update.
Why our dino dollars is losing when we've been killed?
We work hard for it in hunting. It takes time and effort just to earn it.
What is the point of losing them? It's our money.
Is the game gonna push us using gold coins to buy dino dollars?
That is the only thing we have, especially for player that do not spend money to buy gold coins.
So what is the idea? We store our hunt items to the warehouse and sell them if we need to use them like for upgrade cost? How about the others that have a small warehouse? Should they buy gold coins to expand their warehouse slots?
It's okay maybe if the one losing dino dollars is the outlaw player that been killed. At least they will think first before going outlaw and killing players without any reasons.
But this update, losing dino dollar has no explanation at all.

It will be a good thing that we don't lose stacks of upgrade items. They could not even tell me how much dd we will lose. When they answered me they said all they can say is it will be based on ranger level.

I am wondering why we must lose anything at all. Why do the developers of dino storm feel we must lose? Always when they update it is to make us lose something. Devs, why can't you focus on making the game enjoyable so people WANT to spend money on it? All you ever do is keep us losing and paying and leaving. If you stopped taking so much the players would stay and probably spend more money because they like the game. If you did a test server where everything was not all about taking from the players I bet it would make a lot more money than the other servers.

- your afk for about 20 minutes and don't realise you drop topaz x25 ur not going to be happy
- if you think of this logically if some1 shoots you irl they would take everything mainly money rob so makes sense to me

Veivou, many have left the game. Every time it is updated many leave. If you have any bullies on your server you will not lose a little dd, you will lose all of it. It's a very foolish thing to do in a game that has so much trouble keeping players.

Um... don't go AFK anywhere you can get attacked? Go back to DV? Go to a lower level area? It's not rocket science.

Guys, its better before that item drops at least when you picked it up, you can recover it all. In updates now you drop 2% of your dino dollars. And when you picked it you will just recover a half of that drop. Imagine a player that has 100K of dino dollars and supplied a building. He will be killed by his enemy again and again. Many dino dollars he will lose. Imagine the hardwork and effort in hunting those amount.
To avoid dino dollar drops they say use wallet guard. Not all player has gold! And auction is 4 hours long! Also take note: wallet gaurd gel only work in chances. They say store items in the warehouse, but we have limited warehouse slots. Not to mention that players that close to level 40 has enormous amount of items needed, severals stacks of them. They say expand it, we will spend gold coins again?
For all, I cannot find a reason why dino dollars drop and you pick it you cannot get the same amount again. I cannot accept this update. Honestly, I am complaining about this.

Yeah, it is a serious dick move, it will just mean that people won't take any chances, they will never fight any mob they aren't sure they can win against and will never take any chances PvPing. If you don't die, you can't lose cash. It just makes the grinding longer and make people leave the game sooner.

I guess that's what they want.

People will not level up easily. This is a bad update. Unless I kill things that kill me very often most of what I get sells for $1 or $9 at market. I refuse to buy more warehouse/inventory slots to store that amount of meat and bones safely. Also, it is not 2%. I don't have an answer on how much it is other than that it is based on your level.

It is based on you ranger's level of how much DDs you lose, like me for example, I'm level 27, I lose 140DDs each time, and get back half or less then that, I have my best friend who plays at level 38, she lost over 1200DDs yesterday. It's not just players we lose DDs from, it's bandits/creatures we lose to them too. That includes missions type as well.

It has made things much, much harder, but I think with teamwork with clans or friends, you can get by with it.

I still hate it, it's not fair to those who can't or don't have the real money to pay for Gold to make Dino Dollars, those people are stuck with selling their loot to make DDs.

I really don't see the purpose of having to buy Gold anymore, there's no easier way to earn them, like with the casinos that they shut down, use to be able to get a chance of winning 500Gold Coins. Now its using our real money or winning the elections. Even the election money isn't enough....

I will continue to play the game, I don't hate the game itself, it's these improvements that sucks.

I'd like this 'improvement' to go back to the way was, I would rather lose items then DDs, at least you can get back your lost items and get all of it back, verses losing DDs and getting some back....really this is a bad 'improvement'.

Can you believe these leeches have already put up 'wallet guard' for sale along with the gels? You get a 'chance' to keep all your dd if you die. Of course you have to buy an hour, a day and a week to get the most out of it. No other word fits the owners of ds. They are leeches. They take and offer nothing.

Some updates is for gold coins purposes. First is the power gels like building protection gels, fast recovery gel and some. Then they lose the gold coin rewards in the quest. The clothing attributes is losing so you need to renew by using gold. The auction before is 2 hours long now is 4 hours now. Also dino storm plus before you can get it once you bought gold coins in any amount now you need 1,750 to avail it. Updates now is always for gold coins purchases.
About the sudden update of dino dollars lose, I guess not all players are ready for it. Some player has enormous amount of dino dollars in their hands. Once killed by farming or by player, the picked dropped dino dollars cannot be picked the same amount as it was before. For me, we spend time in hunting for it and pour our effort always. Hunting is not always easy now that there is slow and the drop rate really sucks in some time. Maybe this is really okay when our dino dollars drop still the same amount when we pick it. But no, it is not. Right now many player has a 0 dino dollars in their screen. Days or weeks of their hardwork in earning them is gone. If you lose DDs and you need it for upgrade, buy it in dino bank using gold coins?
Wallet Guard gel? Only player with lots of gold coins can avail it. As I feel now, money players have an advantage in this game now that's why they are making updates like this. Players that cannot purchase gold or will not purchase will work very hard in this game.

Free to play = Pay to win ...they sucked players in with easiness (easy to hunt, easy to level up, easy to win elections if you had skilled clan mates and allies online with you, etc)... but now you must pay to win... not only to win but also to bypass annoying "improvements"

and @ them selling a gel to protect dino dollars! wow, i didn't think of that... i thought they'd implement a bank to deposit/withdraw dino dollars (with a fee, of course), but a f--king gel? they aren't doing anything right except ruining their own game.

Actually I didn't think they would have done the gel thing either. I was being sarcastic when I said to one of my clan mates, "I wouldn't be surprised if they come out with a gel to protect our dd" and he said, "They already did". They're shameless.

I have been playing since before the first Rex was awarded. I have never posted on or even visited a DS forum until today. I just like to play the game and escape the grind of reality. This "DD drop" update has upset me to the point I cannot remain silent. I recently spent an enormous amount of time farming for DD in preparation for my next level upgrades. Now that I have accumulated a sufficient amount, I am farming items to upgrade. Now I find as I farm I get ambushed by cowardly outlaw plaerys, get killed by bandits and alphas and am forced to watch helplessly as I lose the DD that I worked to earn.

This update is inexcusable. This is an update that will severely limit players ability to play and upgrade! If you cannot keep your DD then you cannot upgrade....SIMPLE MATH!

To those responsible for the update: The addition of 15 new levels and new areas was excellent. It sent servers into chaos as the struggle for dominance was reignited. This was a good thing. It sparked a renewed interest in the game. However, all that was quickly overshadowed by one REALLY BAD update. Remedy the situation so that we can get back to playing.

GM came on today on A4 saying they can't undo the update....I AGREE many have stopped trying to upgrade anything because of this update. I've got two clans Malkivia and Requiems that hog all areas in A4, I happened to get Russell for 20-30mins before Malkivia drained me and killed me over and over until they got it. Clans like these need to moved to their own server where they can fight until theirs eyes pop out! Me and my friends just want our T-rex, its impossible now with these two greedy clans hogging everything. I don't understand why Spanish and Portuguese are on American servers. This game makes me sick to my stomach....

Maybe some players can accept this update because they are not worrying about losing dino dollars because they can bought it using dino dollars. But developers should also consider that ones that are not purchasing gold coins. They only have dino dollars to use in their upgrades, to use in auction. Also, you are not just losing dino dollars because you have been killed by players or by critters you hunt, you lose also because this game is crashing unexpectedly! Also a brief lag! Not to mention that the players can have unexpected power loss! So this dino dollar lose is unfair! What we gonna do to our lose dino dollars? Buy them using gold coins?

if you can't defend it, don't supply it.

although i think the idea of a server for hardcore "wallet warriors" would be great, the devs can't force gc buyers to abandon A4 to allow non-gc buyers to compete in elections. and Rexes don't belong to anyone... so there is no such thing as "our T-rex"...you have to buy a ton of gc just to compete and kiss butts to win elections.

and lastly, America is two continents... i assume you live in the USA and foolishly believe the USA = America... it doesn't... North America (Canada, US and Latin America + Caribbean Islands) and South America are all America. i know we have an immigration problem here in the states, but most of the US population are descendants of immigrants (and slaves), but i won't get into that here...so before you spew more xenophobia, read a grade 3 history book

I am starting attacking that Violent Pachycephalosaurus then suddenly it go run far away but still able to give damage to my dino. It can still attack even though it is far away from my dino. It can attack me but my dino can't. Also as you see the dino skills and gun skills are both disabled. I have experience this so many times.

That happens to me also. The dino acts like I am on the other side. I've had some luck following the dino and shooting at it. You have to get very close and sometimes it will reset and act normally. This and many other situations make the loss of dd very close to stealing on the part of the game. The game crashes several times for me on a good day. Many times there is nothing near me but when I get back in the game I am dead with a message of an alpha or veteran killing me and still nothing is near me but I lost items. Now it is dd.

I too have experienced this, even before the losing of dino dollars. I remember when I was working in Goldfields level 20 area, game glitched to where bandits or violent centros are attacking me from across the river between level 20 are and level 15 area, so many times I nearly defeat a creature or bandit and runs off and heals in the process, also been stuck in situations where I have Vet bandits on one side then alphas/violents pop up out of nowhere while fighting the bandits and get killed in the process. This update as made clans even worse, much worse. Like I said before, I'd rather lose items then Dino Dollars, although dino dollars can be easily replenished by missions or selling items at high prices, but what sucks about selling items, the sell price lowers as you level up, I think they should stay the same price as before since this new update makes us lose DDs. Also, why don't GM's or whoever award good players with a T-rex and take away T-rex from players that mistreat others. LOL I doubt that would ever happen, be nice though
