Leveling after level 55

I’ve been thinking about the current level cap at 55 and wanted to throw out an idea to keep things exciting for players who've hit that milestone. What if, after reaching level 55, you could still gain experience and get a small reward every time you accumulate, say, 500,000 XP?

The rewards don’t need to be huge—just something to keep the grind rewarding and fun. Maybe small boosts like a bit of extra gold, crafting materials, or even a rare cosmetic item every now and then. It would give players an extra incentive to keep going even after hitting the cap, especially for those of us who love the endgame content but miss the feeling of leveling up.

Let me know what you all think! Would this keep things fresh for you?

No one needs more levels, reaching 55 is already a pain, even new players who never played ds figure out in moments the grinding part is very soul crushing and not normal. But I get ur point

Nobody wants new lvls ....
No offense to you both, but can you guys read what the guy actually wrote? He wrote an idea that gives rewards for continuing to gain EXPERIENCE after reaching the max level without raising it, which i believe would be a great idea.

I didn't say new levels... maybe read my complete post first before adding a reply.

I'm trying to explain that after reaching level 55, there are no more rewards to be gained based on experience. My idea is to introduce a small reward every 500,000 experience points (for example) after level 55. Although players still receive experience boosters and DS+, these items have no real benefit beyond level 55.

The player will remain at level 55 but will continue to receive small rewards. Currently, players at level 55 may have farmed millions of experience points, but this is ultimately pointless.

The dudes literally didn't understand the author of the idea. it is implied that after level 55, up will begin not for the sake of the level, but for the sake of the reward, it is like prestige levels that do not affect anything else. there will be no 65-75 levels, 55 will remain, only there will be a desire to play missions for the sake of rewards, and this is not a bad idea

I thought devs will take it as idea to add more lvls instead that's why i wrote what i wrote.

As for reward system after max lvl well it depends on specifically do we need to raise it to around 1 mil again to get it because to me that wouldn't be worth it or is it more of something else? I would even bother to grind to 500 000 exp again because quest givers give way too low reward per one quests which is main reason why grinding exp as 50+ is nightmare.

Better idea would be is to disable quester givers once it's completed 100% = no player will ever access again the quest givers once it's completed to 100% cuz it's no use to him + (this helps low lvl players against getting bullied from big level players who join and invite more enemies to make quests harder for low lvl players)

We should definitely disable mobs attacking us when we are already 100% with that quest at least regardless of our lvl vs theirs unless its non-quest mob.

And i dont think devs can disable all quest giver for us when we reach 100% hence why i say this.

I don't think there are very many people who think "ooh I wouldn't mind questing in MM." It doesn't detract from gameplay but it doesn't add anything of value either

You do have to quest to unlock some items, also speaking of that yea the quests are a masochist's dream

Just to clarify, you don't have to collect experience. You already gain experience from farming dollars, defeating dinos in the 55 area, and completing event quests, etc.

It's just a little extra reward for those who collect experience, so it doesn't feel pointless. Why would you not want extra rewards?

Its about amount of it needed for said reward and i aint no way paying attention to how much exp i will earn so.

Also the most exp comes from quests thats a well known fact you gain more doing one quest for less time than what you gain via any other means.

That's true but in that case you already have the rewards from the quester (item unlock or a small amount of gold) along with gc for compensation. I feel like in order of popularity pvp/war > farming dd/hunting >>>>>>>>>>>>>> doing quests for a tiny reward in MM

Its enough if they just add lvl 55 New Quester to 55 lvl area. There will be no Group Quest,bcs having 20 players in, it will take 40 mins to make it done. So just some side guests like has 53lvl whit killing smilos.
reward only some amout of DD and some chance % to get Clan Boosters.
Also this one will be unlocked only if u reach 55 lvl.

Non group quests give barely any rewards and are most likely not to give any % on said quest giver tho.

How about if we remove all group quests from all quest givers :') so no group quests exist.
Why low level need make ton of side quest, if he make one in less time for more Exp. Dont be selfish.

And if they are disabled mobs that are part of them should not attack us no matter the level.
