If they didn't mention anything about limitations then I guess yes, limits will not change.

However, they could have removed the limitations. And players would have bought however much they wanted.

Still they wouldn't have lost much income from warehouse/ inventory expansion.

I think the same. In my mind it doesn't make sense to lower the value, but limited the amount of spaces allowed. That would only make them "lose" money, it wouldn't be very profitable.
