Inactive low level accounts holding character names

There are a very large number of character names that are currently taken by accounts that appear to be inactive or were only created to reserve a name. In many cases these characters are extremely low level (for example level 1–5) and have likely never been played beyond creation

Because of this, many good and simple names are permanently unavailable, even though the characters holding them may not have been used in years

Would it be possible to introduce a system where character names from inactive accounts especially very low level ones are eventually released back into the pool? For example:
- Characters under a certain level (like level 5 or 10)
- Low level accounts accounts that have been inactive for a long period of time (e.g. 1–2 years)

(Making fair requirements for such system, but you get my point)

This could help free up many names that are currently locked by unused characters while still protecting active players and established characters

I believe this would improve the experience for both new and returning players who are trying to find a name for their character

I have nothing against the idea, but do you really have so much free time to bother about these things? You really had nothing better to think about?

The idea is good, but unfortunately, it's not workable due to multiple factors.

The accounts, for example in Europe_1, can look inactive but maybe that person plays actively in another server.
Beside that, I like the idea of @DarkMyth. since many names are picked by rangers that hardly walked out of Dinoville Canyon.

I can imagine that Devs don't want to delete those account because the amount of created account is proudly presented when you open the Dino storm website (no way even 1% of those 10 million accounts are active).

@orrire can't you at least do a small delete for let's say the following:

• Didn't log in since 2 years
• & doesn't have DS+
• & doesn't have a character above level 10

They can't without the consent of the people who created those accounts.

I've been without a computer for over a year and three months, and I'm unemployed. So, my account, which is level 30 and not a Plus plan, would be deleted for being inactive because I can't log in right now? That's really unfair.
