Has Dino Storm been abandoned?

The game has felt stagnant for a long time, and that remains true even after several updates. When "Cybers" were introduced to the maps, it took perhaps only a week on less populated servers for players to abandon the mechanic; interest simply vanished due to the lack of an active player base. At the same time, the game only sees players return during specific events, and not all of them are actually "good." The Halloween event is a classic example: it draws back most inactive players, yet it makes me wonder if *Dino Storm* has truly been abandoned. We haven't received a single new dinosaur in years (Cybers don't count; they are just old dinosaurs with metal plates and LEDs slapped on to make them look "futuristic"). Players have shared countless ideas for new dinosaurs on the forum, but no one from the company managing the game seems to care enough to listen... so, has the game really been abandoned by the company?

Apparently the game is still doing “fine” despite all the problems. I feel like its more about the whole “this was my childhood game” or “I played it during the pandemic” thing. The nostalgia and the friends you make are probably what keeps the game alive at this point.
Because lets be honest, the game is pretty bad compared to ARK, Path of Titans, The Isle or pretty much any modern dinosaur game. The engine is really old and the game just feels stuck in the past.
Its pretty clear that the devs dont really want to improve the game. The updates are mostly for high lvl players, basically just giving them a little more content so they dont get bored. Meanwhile low lvl players get bored and quit because there is barely any content for them.

irmão, o jogo está abandonado, só fazem os eventos para dizer que estão fazendo algo. De todos esses anos ideias não faltou para o game, o problema como já foi mencionado é: motor gráfico antigo, enquanto eles não tomarem vergonha na cara e quererem trabalhar de verdade para melhorar o jogo com um motor gráfico melhor para terem mais opções de UPDATES e consequentemente atualizações REAIS vamos ficar nessa com o Ds com seus dias contados.
