As far as I'm aware, Triangles are what make up the shape of the 3D object in the game.

Every object you see in-game, be it Dinosaurs, Weapons & Buildings, they are made up of tiny triangles.

Yes @Pleiadian the triangles shown are the amount of triagles rendered currently by the GPU. All the objects in the game are build out of triangles. The more triangles the more the GPU must work to present the object geometry part.

Batches shows the amount of steps(batches) that the cpu needs to prepare for the GPU to render the scene. The higher that number the higher goes the CPU load. Each object(Dino,Particle Effect, etc.) that can not be grouped together is a seperate batch.
