Title. I think we should have all gates in all maps available to fight for in every server, but fame production should be variable based on the server. For the more active servers it is alright at the moment, but if you look at eu4 with 3 gates a map. Now the problem with this is, it makes the phases very boring, and also there's literally 3 gates to fight at/over.
Instead of this, if we have all gates available but lower fame (so basically if 3 gates rn make 30 fame in 10 mins, then the full 16 gates make the same 30 fame
in 10 mins). The benefit of this is war becomes a lot more dynamic and kind of like it was before with supply charges, there's always a gate to drain. At the same time, it does help defenders in the sense that they have more gates to lose. Sure they must run around more for the fame but seeing as defenders normally outnumber attackers, it seems fair for the privellege
