PVP Aspects of the current game, after update:
Notable cons are as follows:
1) Yager and Gatling feel very lackluster compared to Peacemaker which is quite unfortunate as the majority of players, to my knowledge, use these two guns at this current time.
a) I believe returning Gatling's original curtain fire abilities of slow and bleed would be better than its current state. While the current ability of curtain fire isn't necessarily bad, I think if it were to be kept, the percentage should be boosted; in its current state, that ability is quite underwhelming.
b) I believe Yager's original sneak shot ability should be returned, but nerfed a bit from its original percentage as before, it could potentially remove half of an opponents health/.
2) Multiple imps have become quite useless now due to the high health pools. It feels like vitality and recovery implants are all but unusable.
a) Regardless of if you use vitality or not, you have a massive health pool.
b) In addition, regardless of if you use recovery or not, your rate of health regeneration is extremely slow. I think both of these implants need to be boosted if they are to be usable.
3) The fact that guns do not fire at close range is absolutely ridiculous in my perspective. It puts close range dinos at an inherent disadvantage and makes it incredibly hard to build up extra power, not just for close range dinos, but for everyone.
4) PVP takes a ridiculously long time now. Just to fight one opponent is quite a while, I cannot even fathom what it would be like during large wars, which occur often in this game. I feel that something must be done in regards to this.
5) I feel its quite ridiculous that ankylo is the only dino that can stun as it already has a massive health pool to help it out to begin with. The lack of stunning in previously stunning dinos is devastating to their usability, not only in PVP but also PVE aspects.
6) Implants such as vitality, strength and recovery should be buffed to a higher percentage to provide better usability and balance with the reworked stats of dinosaurs and guns.
7) The ranges in which abilities work for guns seems very wonky. They don't seem fine tuned and flush with one another, making some guns that have far distance actually fire far while others that are labeled long distance actually have more of a medium range; its all very strange in this category.
8) The status labels are much too small. They need to be bigger for people who play on higher resolutions or for those who have trouble seeing.
9) The sudden massive change, from the dino/gun reworking to buffs and nerfs of certain items is devastating for the player base. Many players have been left with gear that was previously amazing to use, that is now all but garbage.


Notable pros are as follows:

1) This update has given life to some previously unloved dinos such as the carno and the para. Many people have been waiting for these two dinos to become usable in game, both in PVP and PVE aspects once again.
2) The introduction of new abilities among dinos and weapons is nice to see.
3) The independent recharge of dino and weapon abilities when one is used is nice. It gives better life and usage to the abilities we have and somewhat helps players to avoid using the same one ability over and over again.
4) The buffs and reworks of previously useless techs and imps such as stability are nice. I do think they need to be balanced a bit more however as they seem to be quite unpolished.
5) The different recharge time of abilities is nice, it better balances abilities that are stronger than others.


PVE Aspects of the current game, after update:
Notable cons are as follows:
1) It is absolutely ridiculous how long it takes to kill mobs after the update. Hunting was already something that numerous players dreaded due to its difficulty in terms of time it takes to gather the upgrade items required.
2) I find that the majority of my time spent 'hunting' after update is spent healing, regardless of if I use recovery or not. Either the recovery rate needs to be boosted, or the health needs to be dropped to prevent waiting for so long in between attacks to heal, not to mention how this will affect lower level players which had trouble hunting to begin with.
3) The fact that certain bandits in majauk mountains are absolutely ridiculous to fight, mostly due to the lack of proper health regeneration from the player. The poor health regeneration, combined with the lack of abilities to help get away from the fight makes for alot of deaths, which no one wants, especially in majauk where money loss is so high upon death.
4) The speed of mobs should be equal to the player's dino speed. For example and ankylo bandit should be just as slow as a player ankylo to offer better attempts at escaping the fight to heal.
5) Endurance seems to be quite wonky. For example, the t-rex has more endurance stat than before, but it seems slower than before as well. Im wondering what this change was meant for.

Overall statements:
Overall, I think that change within a game is inevitable, scary to players, but inevitable. However, I believe it is the job of the devs to ensure that when changes occur, it is not overly drastic to the point where it 'ruins' the game or makes it unplayable with certain gear that previously used to be good. It is beyond disheartening to work towards being max level and upgrade, only for an update to make the equipment you chose before to become lackluster in terms of usability, inside and outside of PVP. Of course, because in the previous version the only weapons that served since 2018 were Gatling and Yager, the problem you have is that you are too used to them, right now they are still good, but the other weapons also have opportunities.

While the current ability of curtain fire isn't necessarily bad, I think if it were to be kept, the percentage should be boosted; in its current state, that ability is quite underwhelming.
Vulnerability by 75% is a very good status effect, combining with dinos that do a lot of damage, for example, meat, rex or coelo, or enhancing the weapon damage with clothes of damage more aim make it a very useful ability, to others it is a skill you can use to favor your teammates.
b) I believe Yager's original sneak shot ability should be returned, but nerfed a bit from its original percentage as before, it could potentially remove half of an opponents health/.
It would be better than his ability to slow down, but make it a skill that can be used from close range.

This is false for several reasons, the vitality implant literally increases 133,280 health points, this implant is the best you can use for a rex or meat, the other dinos do not need it so they release an implant that before its use was mandatory, now you can use some other implant. The same happens with recovery, before the implant was mandatory, now you can choose whether to use recu or use something that helps you more.

This is to free you two implant spaces that could not be changed before, Vitality and Recovery.
b) In addition, regardless of if you use recovery or not, your rate of health regeneration is extremely slow. I think both of these implants need to be boosted if they are to be usable.
The vitality implant and vitality attributes have already been enhanced, perhaps if the post-duel recovery needs to be enhanced.
3) The fact that guns do not fire at close range is absolutely ridiculous in my perspective. It puts close range dinos at an inherent disadvantage and makes it incredibly hard to build up extra power, not just for close range dinos, but for everyone.
Here you are in a mistake, that the weapons do not shoot melee gives an advantage to the dinosaurs that are close combat, if a rex or a meat have to face the damage of dino plus the damage of weapon, with its little Life would die fast, not to mention the abilities of those weapons that do a lot of damage.
4) PVP takes a ridiculously long time now. Just to fight one opponent is quite a while, I cannot even fathom what it would be like during large wars, which occur often in this game. I feel that something must be done in regards to this.
The duration of the pvp is perfect, being a tank dinosaur the duration is maximum 5 minutes, perhaps the problem is that you did not find a good combination to be able to finish quickly with your rival. You have to keep trying combinations until you find the ideal one for you.
5) I feel its quite ridiculous that ankylo is the only dino that can stun as it already has a massive health pool to help it out to begin with. The lack of stunning in previously stunning dinos is devastating to their usability, not only in PVP but also PVE aspects.
Dinosaurs have their own roles, the stun ability of ankylosuarus is to enhance his role as "Tank". Pachylosaurus and Coelophysis are Hit and Run types. Pachy can paralyze which is much better than stunning, as stunning is easily counteracted by stability, while paralyzing is counteracted by the heat regulating implant. And the coelo has one of the best abilities to escape, slow down and accelerate, of the best abilities.
6) Implants such as vitality, strength and recovery should be buffed to a higher percentage to provide better usability and balance with the reworked stats of dinosaurs and guns.
The same as before, Vitality has already been boosted, Strength if it is boosted, they risk an imbalance. Since the rex and carnotaurus are very strong, increasing the strength even more would lead to buffeting these dinosaurs and nerfing the rest.

Give me an example of this, weapons have their range determined by the role of the weapon

I agree on this with you, I would like them to be a little bigger (/)

False, the PTR was opened a month and a half before the update .. they had enough time to go in, test and determine what to change.
