It should be possible to cross bodies of water, but our dinosaur would be slower while crossing.
Conversely, slower dinos like brachi, anky, and centro would receive a smaller speed debuff than coelo, rex pachy, etc.
This would give more options for traveling and more scenarios for PvP

Crossing water with their dinosaur, just like many humans do on horseback nowadays, at least here in Brazil, in the Pantanal region, riders trained their horses to cross Bodies of water while still mounted on them

pra isso tem os elos de salto mano com elos de saltos vc cobre grandes areas do mapa em um so pulo sem penalidade o jogo ja ta entupido de coisa masante isso so iri ser mas uma coisa sem sentido deixaria portais e elos de saltos obsoletos

jump links still have some form of distance where you cant plant the second part of them anymore but yes its useful(tho most people dont wanna be one wasting their crowns on this specific thing and they still tend to have quite a short timer most of time.)

Mesmo asim vc ainda tem os portais pra se deslocar nao tem sentido em vc corta de uma area pra outra pela agua isso quebraria o sistema de teleporte e os portais ficara apenas requizitados a geraçao de fama mas sei la cada coisa nesse jogo nn faz sentido

There isn't water everywhere, only in some places. Specific areas would be crossed, so jump links would still have their use

And to be honest i never liked the jump links, i would find 100% better opening nem ways on the map and making this whater crossing thing, It would be more organic and better
