The addition of cyber dinosaurs and weapons surprised me. I don't think anybody was expecting these updates. Although I have been quite inactive during the last half of the year due to my lack of time, these new additions are attracting me to come into the game and collect them.

I don't know by what miracle this update came to life, but Dev, keep it up. That's the best update in a while. It's "reviving" the game and inviting players to be more active.

I cannot wait to see what you have planned for this year. Although some new Dino would be very cool, I don't think their appreciation would last as long as the Cyber update. I don't think they would create as much hype as the Cyber update would. They would be short-lived.

While the Cyber Dinos were an interesting surprise, at the end of the day, they are still the same dinosaurs with extra modifications.

If a new dinosaur was added, believe me, it would be quite an event for Dino Storm. It's been about 8 years since the ankylosaurus was introduced, and many players are still waiting for something new. Some even believe that this addition will never happen.

When that day finally comes, it will be a big and exciting surprise for all players. I'm pretty sure that many of the old players will come back, and it might even be a turning point for the game. I understand what you're saying about player activity after a new dinosaur is added. It's quite normal for online games to experience a big spike in players right after adding something major, followed by a subsequent decline. It's what in marketing is called the “wow effect.” But that depends on the long-term content of each game (wink wink cyber dinos).

Currently, they are hard to obtain and status symbols in the game. Not everyone can get their hands on them easily. Grinding the mobs is easy but farming the Silver Crown is not. This creates a sort of competition for everyone to try and obtain them.

If a new dino is added, then everyone will try to buy them and the hype will die down. I'm not saying I'm against a new Dino. However, I think that there should be an update that keeps the players and community engaged in the game.

Implementing the Cyber Dinos has a much lasting positive impact on the game and by looking at how many Cyber Dinos & weapons are being released monthly, I would say that it's very easy for them to keep doing that rather than introducing a new Dino from scratch.

Based on previous posts either from GMs or DEVs, I remember them saying that despite being a small team, they like to use their resources to their full potential. Make the changes that have the most positive impact whilst having the least negative impact.

all can be bought with stones or 50% less with gc if you want them maxed only rex has extra achievement with crowns that make it harder to obtain.
