@Highway splitscreen has 2 options. 1. adds new stuff(new dinos, new looks, new map whatever) to keep people spending real money and somehow get new people in the game. 2. game dies, nobody spends money on it , servers closed you guys need to find a new job or something. as far as i know you only have dinostorm, pirate galaxy and the tanks game all kinda dead. so either step up or step down. i would suggest spinosaurus or therizinosaurus or both to be added, im sure people will actually enjoy them as a counter ballance to tank dinos for example. i would suggest a new map to be added with new stuff on it(for events, special quests etc) or aquatic/aerial map. i would suggest for you guys to actually get some more game devs to rework this game which has a huge potential and move it to unreal engine put it on steam for example promote it properly to attact new players. on the market there are way better games to be played such us the isle, path of titans, beasts of bermuda, tempus triad, etc. make us to chose dinostorm to play over these. it means u will be spending something to re-create/re-work this game. put it on steam for a cost (for ex 1 account- £5.00) and allow people to buy accounts - this will bring lots of revenue(for example i've purchased 15 the isle accounts and i know LOTS of people who have 100+ accounts). create a discord server for splitsvreen to actually mod things and listen to the community. i would suggest for you to create a special event/quests server which can be purchased by people who really wanna play on it(on this game named the isle people can actually buy servers and play on them with friends or whatever). how much money did The Isle make? We estimate that The Isle made $95,539,286.46in gross revenue since its release. Out of this, the developer had an estimated net revenue of $28,184,089.51. how much SplitScreen made in revenue? im not marketing other games i just want you(game devs) to realize this game's full potential and to reach it so we(the people playing it) to continue to play. day by day people are leaving this game because there is actually nothing new/attractive enough to keep them. a small number of people remained still hoping you(game devs&splitscreen) will actually do something about it. you know hope dies last and we still hope you guys will make dinostorm great again. hope this post will not be unnoticed by splitsvreen and actually it will be improved.

1) Game needs to upgrade the engine to support future updates.
2) Complete gameplay rework ranging from basic combat to abilities to pvp to endgame and the list goes on.
3) atmospheric and environmental rework. Map themes stay as they are but have iconic places you can visit to socialize and even admire with wild life (apart from the things you can hunt). Maps must not look like a giant snake.
4) improvements to sound and atmosphere. Sound Design is half the game. Have you heard a parasaur and pachy fight with your eyes closed? Sounds like 2 cows fighting for that glazed grass spot. Introduce new soundtrack, game has literally 3 OST, login screen, combat and idle. It's been 13 years brother, I could fart and beatbox it to make a new soundtrack at this point.

Now that a stable and ready to evolve foundation has been set a path opens to new possibilities

5) Introduction to new endgame content along with content fit for every level. Give a purpose to players who spend time upgrading and fighting for fame. For what would you go through all that trouble upgrading when you have nothing going on for it? You could technically pvp at any lvl you don't need max lvl for that, the problem is that the game is dead and no new players are coming to provide a battleground for everyone and the ones already playing at low lvl are playing along with the monopolizing clans who control the whole server therefore no fighting required hence completely demolishing the idea of needing to fight for fame or even for the fun of it because you will be hunted like a dog till the end of times.

So many more things that could be done but at this point it feels like the devs kinda just in for the money at this point. I have spent too much time in this game that I hate to admit but my passion for dinos are not that strong to keep me going fellas. I for one would support this game however I could but there is a reason this game was kept alive for over a decade but some people here don't seem to want to respect that.

it was a very explanatory and helpful explanation congratulations, but let me say these to help you, the reason the game is dead is not because there are no new dinosaurs or weapons or maps, about 5 or 10 or 12 years ago the game was seriously active every server you went to was full of new people new clans new fights, I think the reason the game is dead is not because there are no new things but because the players have encountered too many and different innovations, new updates new rules and new system changes, do you want to know why the current active players do not want to quit the game? @higway @orrie @Faye players believe that no matter how much the game has changed, no matter how bad the update and changes they are facing, one day the old updates or an update that is more like the old update will come back
