How to use the built-in screenshot function
Dino Storm comes with a built-in screenshot function that is very easy to use:
Just hit the F12 key and a high-quality PNG image is saved to your hard disk immediately!
However, Windows does not allow us to save these screenshots right into your pictures library, so we need to use other folders which are a bit harder to find.
These are the folders used for screenshots in Windows 7:
When you are playing our games inside your web browser:
C:\Users\[Your Windows User Name]\AppData\LocalLow\splitscreen\gamedata\Dino Storm
When you are playing our games via our standalone game client:
C:\Users\[Your Windows User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Splitscreen Studios\Dino Storm\gamedata\Dino Storm
Please note that the "AppData" folder is usually hidden - but there is a great shortcut to get there:
- Click the Windows Start button.
- Enter "%appdata%" without the quotes and hit Enter.
- A window will open, showing the contents of the AppData/Roaming folder.
