Greetings to all, I hope you are all doing great.
I would like to address a topic that I believe is of interest to the community: the T-Rex and .
Those who have been playing for a long time, like me, know that the T-Rex used to be relentless and feared, something that has gradually changed over the years, culminating in what we have today: a beautiful dinosaur, difficult to obtain, but with significantly weakened abilities and little resistance in combat, and yes, that's disappointing (at least for me).
I perfectly understand that the developers want to balance the dinosaurs by seeking a certain "equilibrium" in each skill and functionality of the game, which is correct for an RPG/MMO. However, for a dinosaur like the T-Rex, the most difficult to obtain, the most desired, so much so that it kept some players here for more than 13 years, wanting it, believing that it would be a true beast that would bring an unparalleled advantage... when they finally got it, unfortunately they faced the reality that it was nerfed years ago.
I'm not asking for the T-Rex to be completely broken, invincible, no. But that its crown be returned to it. How? Simply by altering some abilities, for example: ability "1" should deal damage equal to its standard DPS (currently it causes 1000% bleeding for 10 seconds). Assuming a level 55 Rex deals ~31k DPS based on strength, its ability should deal the same 31k or more, and not less. Another point is "Battle Cry" (ability "2"). Why does a dino that roars at its opponents, causing them terror, have a very close-range attack whose hitbox often doesn't even hit all targets (even nearby ones)? This area of effect could be medium/short range. Even so, it hits 1 target without the extra, and at most 3 with the extra, which makes it completely weak. Everyone who plays knows that it is the most focused and has the least vitality. This ability could easily be increased to 3 targets without the extra and 6 with the extra...
Finally, regarding the T-Rex, it's a dinosaur with very low vitality compared to its strength, which is fine so far. However, the percentage of damage caused by strength when using its abilities could increase a bit more than the current 400% (in abilities "1" and "2"). The value could, without detriment, be 500% per ability ("1" and "2").
I believe these adjustments would come at a good time. It's been a long time since Rex lost his throne. Changes that the whole community felt and complained about, but weren't heard... maybe because we didn't know how to express ourselves, maybe because the devs felt offended, but my opinion and wish here is not to offend anyone, it's simply to contribute so that Dino Storm gets better every day and generates more income and fun for everyone.
