(SUGGESTION) New PVE Activity : Bounties

Main Description :
Players can complete bounties to get somes rewards from it (extra activity during Protected Phase).

Mechanics/Details :

How to complete :
To complete Bounties, players will hunt animals and bandits depending of their ranger level.
  • Kill a certain amount of targets (normal animals, aggressive animals , normal bandits, agressive bandits (veterans) | ONLY animals and bandits which spawn as "Group" are counted to complete bounties |
  • bounty level = ranger level , animals and bandits are counted if they are between ranger level +2 > ranger level > ranger level -2
  • Execption for level 55 players : can do level 55 and level 50 bounties,
    • level 55 bounties : level 55 animals and bandits only are counted,
    • level 50 bounties : level 50 -> 54 animals bandits only are counted.
Bounty Exp and Bounty Level :
  • At the beginning your Bounty Level is 1, with 3 slots of acceptable bounty. At certain levels searched, new slots will be unlocked [3,5,8,11,14,17,20]so 10 slots in total
  • Required Exp of each level will regularly increase from level 1 to 10, then for level 11 to 15 increase more than regualar to finish for level 16 to 20 as challenging.
Bounties and Targets :
Bounties (details) :
  • Bounties are not limited (means an amount per days/weeks) BUT they will be limited in time to be complete when accepted (a week to finish)
  • When a bounty is accepted, they look like a quest.
  • Each time a bounty is completed , another one is added to the bounty list,
  • Bounty list is only accessible in Dinoville at the "Hunting Board" (spot suggested : North-West Quarter) It's where the npc "The Bounty Hunter" give you bounties to complete for good rewards !
  • Bounty list can be refreshed with dino dollars but will increased at each used, and get reset daily (like the amount of dino dollars needed to play Dice Game) only the bountied which are not accepted will be refreshed.
Targets (details) :
  • Indirectly, Bounties have a level of Difficulty, depend of the TYPE of mobs is the target and if there are a specified, Example :
    • a certain amount of any kind of mobs (animals and bandits) known as the easiest bounties,
    • Somes of one kind of mobs, (Brontops, Bandits riding Rex, Centrosaurus, etc...),
    • Few of Aggressive mobs and can be one kind or various kind of mobs (Veterans Bandits Riding Brachiosaurus and Menacing Carnosaurus, Alpha Parasaurus, etc...),
  • Depending of the Bounty Level, the amount of Targets needed to complete a bounty will increase but better are the rewards.
Rewards :
Completing bounties will give 3 kind of reward = Dino Dollars , Gold Coins and Bounty Exp.
  • Harder is the bounty, better will the reward (SUGGESTION : up to 5 Gold Coins for Hardest Bounty = one kind of an aggressive mobs)
  • Bounty Exp too will inceased depending of the difficulty of the bounty (10 exp = easiest , 40 exp = Hardest)
Why this suggestion?
Make Hunting less boring in general!
Allows max level players to continue playing outside of the Vulnerable Phase or making dino dollars with hunting and making "uping" players having some bonus rewards when hunting for upgrade items.

I hope the DS Community will agree this suggestion to make it alive :love:

it would make the game prob quite a bit better through out all of it from the start to 55 it'll help players so id love to see this.
The rewards scaling with dificulty and such also makes sense cuz yk killing for example rookie bandits is way easier than killing vets.
Only thing im curious is how would the rewards work? Based on your ranger + bounty lvl? so a lower lvl will get alot less than someone whos already max lvl.
Would this make ds less boring? 100% yes. Would it help with the whole gcs thing for f2p people and others in general? Yes.
Its a well thought out suggestion with alot of balance to it, if it isnt added sadge but if its it'll definetly help ds

its basicly a win win situation for max and low lvl players,
Low lvl players get to upgrade and get rewarded for it (cuz rn only REAL reward is the stats the hunt achievements are good but dont give enough gcs for wht theyre worth)
High lvl players getting dds is fantastic, most players who are max already hunt in the 55 area which spawns everything and has variety and would make dds and xp every efficient, rn dds are alright? With the whole bones and other random drops being worth like 1k per at max lvl but id prefer this system either way cuz it feels WAY more rewarding and fits with Dino Storms already Grindy nature.

or maybe a reward which is maybe needed is the yellow matrix to speedup the levelling timer.

Also i think abt players who cant have alot of time to farm dds too then they can get some dds by doing only bounties. Maybe for higher lvl players , gold coins reward will be increased like 75 gold coins for lvl 55 player and bounty lvl 10 for the hardest bounty (lvl 55 too).

fame will be alrdy done with the update of 9th april 2024
Edit: yellow items (aka upgrade items) as its name, is only use to up equiments, so why change trash loot into valuable loot?

absolutely love it tho you could make it that at the end you can choose between gray items, yellow items, fame, and more.
also, i thought to add multi player bounty, the target will be a mini boss
  • only one available multi player bounty per day in thebounty list, limited places (4 minimum, depend of the difficulty)
  • reward : alot of dds (depend of bounty lvl only) , somes gold coins (like x4 or x3 of a medium bounty), alot of bounty exp (depending of the bounty lvl), an extra reward for the leader of the team and the MVP( MVP who can't be the leader of the team) : chooseable gear btw hat, accessory , shirt, pants , saddle, dino skin, with chooseable attribut and will be Quality 5. others get extra gold coins and dds.
  • only who joined the team of the bounty can attack the target.
  • there are a cooldown to recuit teammates (15min-1h , depend of difficulty), when not enough teammates is in the team , the mini-boss bounty is closed and refreshed (max 10 times)

leveling timer = like you choose between the equipment which being upgrading and reduce of 10% the upgrading time? then the reward will be only get from Hard bounty
or choose to reduce directly the upgrade time on a equipment but limite is 50% when upgrade isn't started (like preparation)

@- Cause - , i was thinking about ur idea to make ppl choose a reward , especialy to get leveling timer, i found something which can complete ur idea, and i will give in more infos abt the generation of bounties in the bounty list. So look what i propose :

Extra reward for Hardest Bounty (One kind of Agressive mob) :
As extra reward with dino dollars, gold coins and Bounty Exp, the player can choose between :
  • Advanced Leveling Timer : can be used directly to reduce upgrading time on equipments, either in progress (not limited) or not started (limited to 50%). Advanced leveling timer will reduced of 5% the upgrading time,
  • Teleportation Matrix : an amount of 5,
  • Recovery Kit : just 1 per bounty.
Bounty List :
Bounties will be very various, to the easiest at the hardest difficulty but the hardest bounty has an exception :
  • With its extra reward, the 5 first refresh, Hardest bounties have 100% chances to appear in the bounty list. Means you can complete 5 Hardest bounties per days if you accept them everytime ! After 5 refresh, Hardest Bounty rate will dramastically decreased.
  • Difficulty Rate Chance :
    • Easy Bounty (Any mobs) : 45%
    • Medium Bounty (one kind or multiple kind of mobs) : 35%
    • Hard Bounty (Multiple kind of Agressive mobs) : 15%
    • Hardest/Extreme Bounty (one kind of Agressive mobs) : 5%
