Now when you attack something you get slowed down just like you do when you're the one getting attacked.

Its stupid. 1 gm i talked to said they did the slow thing to prevent people from running in doing damage then running away but now that doesnt happen its 1 of the most pointless updates ever

I agree. It totally removes your ability to use distance attacks because you can't get any distance away. This is unfair to every centro, coel and pachy user.

Well I still don't think that a person should be slowed by his own attacks, but as far as the long-range stuns go, be careful what you ask for. If they do go back to being as easy to pull off as any other skill then they might end up needing to be nerfed for balance reasons. 300% damage + a 4 second stun is easily better than any of the bleed skills. And the stun can be used to put a huge gimp on both leech and the damage buff from Battle Cry. I'm guessing that this imbalance was done intentionally with the idea that stuns can be countered with stability, but most would agree that trading out an implant for stability is an even bigger problem than the stun itself.

Nope, tried it with stability gear and implant. It's a pointless feature. They need to put it where it belongs - to the dinos that use slow and stun as their attacks, nowhere else.

This is the only PVP game I know that has passive slow effects in combat! This is the worst update to me too! Do not like it and still not getting used to it! I do not know why once you attacked you're slowed? Same if you've been attacked! There is no strategy now or whatsoever. And because of this the Carno and Brachi is their choice now because of their close combat skills! Not like before the old times that players can still prefer other dinosaur to ride.

You guys seem to be missing the point of what I was saying in my last post. If you want to remove the slow completely that's fine by me. But in a 1v1 fight these skills that do 300% damage and stun for 4 seconds are the best skills in the game, bar none. You seem to feel that the slow makes these dinosaurs unusable now, and maybe it does. I don't know, I don't use any of them. But if these dinosaurs don't have some sort of disadvantage to offset their superior skills then they're just plain overpowered. And without a doubt the pachy was overpowered before the slow was added.

Now if the slow was removed the Rex might actually be in decent shape because it does have better overall stats than the other dinos and Brutal Bite is better than the other bleeders. It'll be hard to say how everything really balances out until everyone gets maxed again and we can really test things out. But without the slow the Carno and Brachi would probably need a bit of a buff to really be on par. Para is likely gonna need to be buffed whether the slow is removed or not.

Meh, forget everything that I've said. Since the slow seems to be such an unpopular feature it's probably better that it just be removed, even if that does mean OP Pachys again. I would still like to see something done though to make Paras a little better in PvP

There is an overpowered dinosaur then there is just having a pointless update. The slow when you get shot makes sense. But the slow when you shoot someone? It makes no sense once so ever.
