Since yesterday I've noticed that my camera is bugged. The bug occurs in the following way: first, I was walking normally when suddenly my dinosaur got stuck against a wall, and I couldn't get free and move around freely. It seemed like something had locked my commands in that direction only. After that, I started noticing that when I managed to get away from the wall, my side slide is completely bugged, as if my option to fix the camera position is conflicting with the option to let it slide freely. It's as if when trying to slide sideways, it tries to do both at the same time. I can't record it to show you, but it's happening to me and I've already reinstalled the game several times to try to solve it...

I reinstalled the launcher again and this time it seems to have worked...

Sorry about the quality, it was the only quick way I found, but it's noticeable that when I try to slide the camera sideways, the dinosaur goes along with it. Also, sometimes instead of completing the full slide movement, it forces me to right-click and drag again.

That is not really new to me, that was for me always the case that the dino orients itself based on camera so that moving forward via keyboard moves with it, so for me that is not really obious where the issue is. Maybe someone else @Narokath

i think its way worse when camera starts constantly rotating instead of letting you walk or attack something normally tbh(luckily this scenario isnt common enough to be easily encountered but it sure annoys me when it does happen.)

All I know is that you can make your dino turn on the spot with just the mouse if you had previously used the A or D keys to rotate -- but that behavior has been present for a long time, and the "link" between camera and dino rotation is gone as soon as you issue the next movement command (via keyboard or mouse, doesn't matter).

If you find a way how to reproduce irregular camera behavior, please submit a ticket to support. And by "reproduce", I mean please tell us the exact steps we need to perform so that we can see the wrong behavior for ourselves (i.e. first come to a standstill, then press xyz key, then...).

I'll try again and get back to you. I don't think I explained it well, I'm sorry.

As I said, this happened yesterday, after the camera started rotating on its own. Since then, it has been behaving this way, and other people have reported the same problem.

Now I think I can explain better: although sometimes it works normally, I tested it with the camera stationary and, as we can see, sometimes it doesn't slide (even when stationary); in motion, I tested it as you instructed and it started rotating at a certain point in the video.

After it started spinning on its own at the end of the video, I tried pressing "D" to move sideways, and with the right mouse button I tried to change the direction of the slide, but the command was not obeyed.

I think I have some clues...

I tested the left mouse button swipe gesture, enabling the option in the settings, and it's working without errors. Now, when I disable the option, the problem arises: the right button doesn't respond correctly to look around.

This issue has been in the game since I started playing it. For a quick fix: Click once anywhere on your desktop outside of the game window.

How to reproduce the issue:
1) Open the game in windowed mode.
2) Hold the A or D key.
3) While holding the key, left-click and hold the top bar of the game window and drag the window somewhere else.

There may be other ways to trigger it, but this is the easiest way for me to reproduce it.

That's very true, I tested it here and it really happens.
