I have a LOT of dinosaur ideas brewing, and while I mainly use them for my own projects, I'll happily put them here as well.
Thescelosaurus- A small, nimble herbivore whose main gimmicks revolve around the quills coverings its tail. Abilities would be a quill-slinging attack and a defensive/evasive stance.
Deinonychus/Utahraptor- Can't go wrong with a raptor of some kind. Focus on bleed, maybe a latching ability?
Tupandactylus- Pterosaurs? You bet! A trickster-type that focuses on status effects, and could even taunt enemies.
Desmatosuchus- An herbivorous croc-relative who'd be able to burrow as a means of attacking.
Dearc- A certified scoundrel of a pterosaur, likely seriously oversized compared to real life. Emphasis on being hard to hit and reducing attack power.
Protoceratops- A well-rounder with a strong beak and a stubborn attitude. Could probably kick up dust into its opponent's eyes.
Gallimimus/Gigantoraptor- Similar to Para, but with more speed and damage in exchange for less health. Would have a charge/stampede attack.
Dilophosaurus- Not a ranged attacker, surprisingly, but still focused on DoT. Venom effects would be long-lasting, but not too potent at first.
Pteranodon- Dive-bombing expert. All pterosaurs would be fast, but fairly fragile. Ptera would also have a ranged ability.
Dimetrodon/Arizonasaurus- The real poison-spitter in this roster, and the other venom-centric 'dino'. Venom spray would be an easy way to cause chaos.
Kaprosuchus- Emphasis on slowing/preventing movement. A swift dino's worst nightmare.
Atopodentatus- A bizarre marine reptile that'd have defensive and support abilities.
Prestosuchus- A Carno-like bruiser, likely with a stealth ability.
Gastonia- Covered in spikes, and about to make it your problem. Works as a lite-tank with added thorns.
Nothosaurus/Tanystropheus- Another ambusher, perhaps with lunges or other gap-closing attacks, or AoEs.
Kentrosaurus- The other pointed lizard. Much more offense-focused than its bigger brother.
Allosaurus- Hits slow, but hits hard. Another Carno-style bruiser.
Shunosaurus/Amargasaurus- A dwarf sauropod that'd serve as another lite-tank. AoE-focused?
Iguanodon- Focuses hard on a single target, not as good against groups. Could have a 'Finisher' attack.
Therizinosaurus- Abilities center around buffs and an enraged state. Slow to start, but devastating when they get momentum.
Triceratops- Knockback or flinging targets could be a major gimmick of this iconic fella.
Quetzalcoatlus- The ultimate glass cannon. Could mark targets and get benefits from defeating them.
Dakosaurus/Tethysaurus- Not me making marine reptiles more semi-aquatic. Possible bleeder?
Elasmosaurus- Okay, I know this would be silly to see on land, but bear with me. Lots and lots of AoEs and reach to make up for abysmal speed.
Lisowicia- Another synapsid rep! A real beefcake, probably with self-healing abilities.
Plateosaurus- Another 'brawling'-style dino, like Iguanodon. Could kangaroo kick things?
Spinosaurus/Baryonyx- Another possible knockback dino, this time of the damage-dealer variety. Possible gastrolith spit attack?
Diplodocus/Brontosaurus- Healing/sustain-centric? Would also pack a punch with that tail.
Stegosaurus- Potential counter-attacking or deflecting skillset. Timing would be key for this one.
Purussaurus/Sarcosuchus- The slow but heavy-hitting ambusher sort. Burst damage galore.
Edmontosaurus- Debuff/status effect-focused? People really forget how Massive these guys really are, so I'd want them to be pretty darn tanky.
Giganotosaurus- Would have a rage mechanic similar to Theri, being more of a glass cannon compared to good ol' Tyranno.
Thescelosaurus- A small, nimble herbivore whose main gimmicks revolve around the quills coverings its tail. Abilities would be a quill-slinging attack and a defensive/evasive stance.
