Getting rid of Abusive Players

One think I'd like to see changes of, are the support team doing a better job at protecting their players. I understand this game is Player verse Player game, however; bullying should not be tolerated. I'd like to see support taking more actions to protect the well being of the players within the game. I have experienced in that past of reporting abusive players whether it's constant kills or by verbal abuse, and these players that cause these abuse are not penalized for abusing other players. Recently I reported a player who made constant threats he would kill over and over again, then he started cursing at me in his own language, I speak English, he speaks Spanish, in order for me to understand him, I have to use a translator...or report it. Which is what I did, a few months ago, I had another player making real life death threats to myself, yet, nothing was done other then muting him for 24hrs. I have no other issues with the game, it's the best one out there, however; verbal or physical abuse should not be tolerated. Some people simply don't deserve to play the game, "if they can't play nice, they shouldn't play at all". I can sit and send in dozens of reports on players that abuse others but the only responses I usually get are somewhere in the line of 'Thank you for the report, we will investigate, please contact the guardians to get pvp protection" that is not what I want to see each time I report....Something must be done about it to protect the well-being of players....many end up leaving the game due to aggressive and "rule breakers" as I like to call them. I really would like to see changes made with the support team doing much better at getting rid of Abusers in the game. Please consider this, and thank you for your time.

Older players know there was a good definition of 'griefing' in the Code of Conduct. We were able to report them and they'd be muted, temporarily banned or permanently locked out from their character. Rather than deal with the bad players who spend their time ruining other player's games they changed the C.O.C. and removed all references to griefing. They created the guardian system at the same time if I remember correctly so they are just fine with the bullying problem.

It is no surprise that they ignored a problem other than to make it harder to play the game. Making the game harder results in more money spent for leveling gear, dinos and clothes just to survive and get to another level. What they consistently fail to see is the game is not fun anymore. Nobody can focus on playing the game because it has become a miserable grind unless you pay money to get your upgrade items fast. Players are forced into clans they have no wish to be in and guard claims when they should be enjoying the game. If they refuse they can't level up since that clan will kill them every time they enter the zone they need for upgrade items. The game is so much grind they've lost hundreds of players.

Don't they get it yet? People who just started in a game are not the ones putting out their cash, especially when the game is not fun. They are killing their own game with greed.

I love killing bullies i used to get bullied when i was low level, so I always make sure to take care of anyone who is being bullied. Not enough players that think like me unfortunately.

there are no abusive players in this game.
if others are attacking you, use protection.
if anyone insults you, use ignore option.
or if you cant do both, don't play.
if you still want to play, ask support to ban others so you can play yourself. (because support and gm is looking for who should be banned in every single day- reasons are not necessary)

To me it depends what kind of attack we're talking about. If someone kills you in-game then yes, either get protection, spawn somewhere else, or fight back. You can't rightfully expect someone to get banned just for pressing an attack button that the the game itself gives you.

But there's really no excuse to get verbally abusive or otherwise offensive in chat. There is an ignore option, but to me that doesn't justify being disrespectful to others.

What a joke! Report them to support and get them banned???? Lol! Support does nothing. GM looking for them? Get real. When do you ever see a GM on most of the servers? These are abusive players. They do not let players level up because they can't leave dinoville. For your information MANY players have stopped playing because of this.

Yes arachyd, many players stopped playing due to this bullying activity of some high level players. However if you have planned to continuosly hunt for 3 hours you can take protection and you dont need fame for elections at level 10 or 15 yet. You should start saving fame at level 20 for a safer way. Before level 20 try to use some protection if there are many bullies and make sure to join in any of the top three clan in the saloon. The best and the free protection for you is a Good Clan. Good clans have more players so obviously they hunt in all levels and in all places and they also have rule to kill the player who kills any of their member. So, this way you can save yourself.

EDIT : If they insult or abuse you , do this :

Step 1 : Screen it with server time and save that image with chat and servertime clearly.
Step 2: Make a support ticket and attach your image.
Step 3: Ignore that player (Type /ignore or click ignore on the player name) in your chat and wait for the GM's to take any action.

Having personally sent hundreds of complete tickets with player names, server times and basically handed them bullies on a silver platter nothing has been done to them. I have no wish to join a clan or play dino storm ever again. I reached my goals, got my t-rexes, did all there was to do. Every day I saw players bullied unless they joined bullying clans and lost their opportunity to play because they had to do the clan's bidding. The changes have made the game nothing but a grind and how much fame is a new player really going to have to waste when they can't hold a building unless they leave dino ville? It simply is not a fun game anymore and I won't be wasting my time on it.

just go to server EU2 and ask any one if GM ban anybody. you will get more than 100 names.

I don't think that any of the GM bans player for no reason. They ban only when there are some reasons like hacking, abusing, sharing accounts,etc. They also ban if you keep doing the same mistakes everytime like there are 100 tickets against you with pictures which shows that you are insulting other players and asking their email or password. This may cause a permanent closure of that account by Splitscreen.
Still, if anybody thinks that his/her account has been banned for no reason he/she can post a ticket on support website. The GMs are chosen very wisely and carefully so that they won't misuse their power. If they banned their account there must be a unavoidable reason behind it.

I know players who never spoke globally, never shared acc, never abused anyone and never tried hack got banned.

Think about this single rule: One should not have 2 accounts on a server. And i agree with that.
But what if 2 kids from a single home single PC (same IP Address) want to play in same server ?? They get ban, reason what GM say- Account share or 2 acc from single IP.

I can say positively that I did leave the game for about 2 years because of harassment by one player. They NEVER did look into it. So I left.

Coming back, it appears little has changed.
