Hello. it has been a long time since i was bothered by these things in dino storm and wanted to contact developers and i hope i am in a right place. i have been playing this game for years but i can't say that i was consistent. but that is not my fault, trust me i am so consistent. i can let you know that i finished subnautica 2 in two days. some days i spend a lot time on dino storm, but it gets boring really easily. i understand this game is all about farming and you can't change it but i would love to share my thoughts on how you can improve things. i am sure you know that transporter and escort missions are one of the most boring and hated and it has a reason. after fighting bandits and completing mission in 2 or 3 minutes, going for 10 minute long transport mission is really frustrating. i think you can make it less annoying and more motivating. soo the problem is that after transporter is attacked and it stops, it will not move until the creature that attacked it dies. come on man. it might be some fatass dino and take some time to die, or it might be bandit with gatling who confuses you and you can't kill target quickly. after that, another bandit or creature shows up and stops transporter again. yea it takes a lot time to move transporter and cover some distance. i would love to see transporter move when they are not being attacked. at least 2 seconds after they take damage they should just go because nobody is attacking them anymore and standing there if they are not helping us is just wasting time. it does not matter for it whether i fight with bandit or not, it should go when it is not being attacked. that would be really helpful and it also makes sense. another thing that i want to suggest is that those transporters are really slow. no matter the level of mission all of them have same speed. why? just why? it would make lot more sense and would be more comfortable for everyone if dinos had their speed based on their level. for example: if i am completing level 9 mission transporter centrosaur should have same move speed as i would have with level 9 centrousour while pressing shift. or if it is hard to adjust speed for every type of transport and escort dinosaur, just give them average speed based on their level. i just want those transports get a bit faster in higher level missions. if you do these two thing you are gonna make completing missions much pleasant. and i have one more suggestion about transporters. i have no idea how your game is coded and whether it will be possible or not, but this thing can change the people's view on transporter missions completely. when they get attacked they should fight back. i am not asking for them to use abilities, but just give them average dmg based on level and let them fight. it does not have to be much. it does not have to be for making killing targets easier, just because it is cool and when they fight with us it will be much more encouraging. ok so when transporter gets attacked by dinosaur, it should fight back like young dinosaurs do. just doing some damage without using abilities. if enemy is a bandit and he is shooting it from afar transporter should just stay in it's place and not fight. obviously it can't walk towards him that would be weird. transporters should attack enemies when they are in close range and guys who i escort and have guns should increase their range and shoot guns when they are far and fight normally like transporter when they are close. that is it. defending self (at least trying a bit), starting walking when not taking damage and having speed based on level will make those missions from one of the most hated to one of the most exiting and thrilling. i would love to see it.
and i have another suggestion about something really boring and frustrating thing in your game. farming. i started new account and i leveled up to level 10 in one day, because it was easy to gather needed stuff for upgrading. as you get to higher levels it gets much much much harder to completely upgrade everything . dino, 3 implants, weapon and 3 techs is not easy to upgrade. it took me 3 hours to gather components for upgrading everything from level 17 to 18. i fight against dinosaurs 3 levels above mine and it is really hard. i often get killed by alphas veterans and grand ones because they are too strong and loot they drop is not what it needs to be. i have often killed hordes of dinosaurs 3 levels above mine and got only 1 or 2 components in total. please. when you are level 17 and kill level 18 dino make it always trop 2x loot. and when you kill level 19 make it trop 3x. always. because it takes so much time. though take it into consideration that it is just a suggestion, all i want is looting to become more consistent. when it is based on chance it take so much time and effort. when i need 35x level 30 fabric something and killing 7 dinosaurs that are 3 levels above than mine gives me only 5 of them is really really really unfair. come on guys leveling up takes a whole day. for example there should be some number of loot you must get for killing 10 dinosaurs. just choose some number based on levels of dinosaurs and levels of you.
this is all i wanted to say. i came here because i want this game to become more enjoyable. to sum up all i want is: transporter missions to become a bit faster and smoother and looting to become more consistent and more rewarding. i hope i am sending this to a right place and i will see changes soon. keep up the great work. that gatling bug was fixed quicker than i could expect.
