Game Update February 4, 2026

Around 8 AM UTC (09:00 CET), game servers will restart for a game update to be updated.

Free-Roaming Elite Cyber Groups: A New Addition to PVE Gameplay
  • From Goldfields onwards, all maps now feature especially strong groups of free roaming enemy units:
  • A single elite group headed by a Giant Cyber Dinosaur who is accompanied by minions.
  • One or more elite groups of cyber bandits, each headed by a Bandit Leader.
  • Elite groups will move across the entire map they appear on, following a random path that they choose by themselves.
  • A new elite group will spawn 3 hours after both the leader unit and all its minions of an existing elite group have been defeated. Left on their own, elite groups will not despawn.
  • Orphaned minion units will try to follow a new leader, and form a new group by themselves if there is no suitable leader left.
  • Elite groups are max level regardless of the map they appear on, and they present quite a challenge. Better watch out if you are out on your own!
    • In order not to overwhelm lower level players, roaming elite groups will not be aggressive towards targets at level 44 and below (equipment level, not ranger level).
  • Elite group units can drop a new kind of fame item, Cyber Debris. Just like medals and gold rocks etc, these can be sold at the market for fame points.

Elite Group Lures: A New Kind of Placeable Item Available at Silver Lily's
  • Lure kits for placing elite group lures can be used in any PvP-enabled zone, regardless of its level range. Once the lure is placed on the ground, it will attract an elite group of cyber units, just like the ones that are now found roaming across the game.
    • Just like free-roaming elite cyber groups, lured enemies will not attack lower level players (44 and below).
    • Lured units will despawn after 30 minutes if left alone.
  • Required for purchase: Reach both ranger level 50 and the Governor's office.
  • Three versions available:
    • Cyber Carnivore Lure Kit
      • Attract a group of max level units headed by a carnivorous Giant Cyber Dinosaur.
    • Cyber Herbivore Lure Kit
      • Attract a group of max level units headed by a herbivorous Giant Cyber Dinosaur.
    • Cyber Bandits Lure Kit
      • Attract a group of max level units headed by a Cyber bandit leader.

Cynergy Cores: Unlock Greater Potential For Your Cyber Dinosaurs
  • Available at Silver Lily's Emporium.
  • Can only be used in Cyber dinosaurs.
  • Two variants: Base and full-spec.
    • Both variants are fashionable items that provide attribute and fame points when installed into new "Cynergy Core" slot.
    • Base variant does not require reaching the Sheriff's office.
      • Required for unlocking (kill 100 each): Giant Cyber Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Centrosaurus, Carnotaurus, Coelophysis, Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Tyrannosaurus Rex; (defeat 200 each): Cyber Bandit Leader armed with Burning Colt, Hammer, Gatling, Peacemaker, Showstopper, Yager Rifle.
      • Base variant has no effect on Cyber dinosaur's glowing lights default color.
      • Called "Cynergy Core (Base)" in shop.
    • Full-spec variant needs to be unlocked for purchase once by collecting a full set of Cyber Sheriff clothing (outfit pieces can be of different colors).
      • Installed to a Cyber dinosaur, full-spec Cynergy Cores change the color of the dino's glowing lights according to the core's color.
      • Called just "Cynergy Core" in shop, and available in different colors.

UI Related Changes & Fixes
  • Non-friendly NPC units that are 10 or more levels above the player's current equipment level are now shown as potentially deadly in the unit selection hud (red color, small skull icon).
  • Added new item filter categories to shop and inventory layouts: Cynergy Cores, Placeable Items.
  • Due to many new PvE achievements related to Elite Cyber groups, PvE achievements have been divided into new subcategories so they are now easier to browse and keep track of.
  • The ranger profile window can now be moved with the mouse (grab near the top or ranger portrait area).
  • Fixed floating text effect to no longer stack multiple lines at some point, making it hard to read the individual lines. This was noticable for example with event cake bakers when multiple ingredients were missing.
  • Fixed that target/mouseover markers would be incorrectly scaled at times, which was noticeable e.g. when alternating between small and large enemies.
  • Fixed that the mouse selection marker was sometimes showing at the wrong location for a single rendered frame.
  • Fixed that the camera rotation via mouse drag would also trigger when UI elements should have masked the click.

Enemy Unit Related Changes & Fixes
  • Increased enemy units evade move speed to more clearly show that evading units cannot be attacked; due to the shorter evasion time, these units can also be engaged again more quickly.
  • Balancing fix for bandit units (tendency of reduced dino damage, increased weapon damage; impact of change varies according to specific combination of dinosaur and weapon).
  • Fixed a bug that caused a few kinds of loot items to not drop as often as intended. This included customization items and trash loot as well as upgrade items.
  • Several improvements and bugfixes related to enemy / npc unit behavior.

Other Changes & Fixes
  • Changed the look of Tyrannosaurus Rex in the intro screen; now wearing
    • Zebra (Clear white & Blue)
    • Cynergy Core (Bright green)
  • Shader improvement for Cyber dinosaur's glowing lights effect, most notably enabling the lights to be visible on the lowest graphics quality setting. Color hue of blue default glowing lights is a bit different from the former look due to this change.
  • Implemented that user inputs (mouse & keyboard) are processed at a "humanly possible" rate , dropping excessive artificial input (makes auto clicker useless).
  • Added that the optimal effort is considered on PvP kill achievements and not just the top effort player (this means that if multiple players were involved in a kill which would count for an achievement, more than just the top effort player will receive the achievement).
  • Fixed a bug that caused group quests to sometimes get stuck at 100% and not finish properly.
  • Fixed a bug that could sometimes cause Dino Storm Plus' XP boost to not work.
  • Fixed that XP boost Power Gel stacks properly with the Dino Storm Plus XP boost.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause AFKing players to not be properly disconnected when they were in combat state.
