Game Update February 12, 2019

Between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM UTC+1, the game servers will shut down for a new game update to be deployed.

Update Changelog

[anchor]IMPROVEMENTS[/anchor]
  • Player dinosaurs will now only slow down in close combat, i.e. weapon damage will no longer cause slowdowns, only dino damage does.
  • The duration of slowdown in close combat has been reduced by 50%.
  • Made adjustments to close combat animation so that dinosaurs/animals will turn to face their target head-on.
  • Strong enemy riders are now exclusively using their other weapon skill compared to regular riders of the same type.
  • Adjusted that weapon damage is shown in blue color and dino damage in red. An extra violet icon is displayed when booster ammo is used.
  • Slightly increased the range you can pull an enemy dino before it evades combat.
  • The player dino is now able to attack in close combat even when not facing the enemy directly. The dino will rotate towards the target as long it is attacking the target.

[anchor]BUG FIXES[/anchor]
  • Fixed a bug that caused bandit weapons to not properly utilize the new weapon balancing introduced in the Maujak Mountains update.
  • Fixed a bug that caused all enemy ankylosauruses regardless of type to only and exclusively use the Ground Punch skill.
    • Weak ankylosauruses now cannot use any skills.
    • Regular ankylosauruses will now use the Tail Smash skill.
    • Strong/boss ankylosauruses will now use both Tail Smash and Ground Punch skills.
  • Fixed a bug that would cause both Dino Reflector Tech and Weapon Reflector Implant to incorrectly issue a global skill cooldown (i.e. dino/weapon skills could not be used for a few seconds) when their effects were triggered.
  • Fixed a bug that caused slowdown effects that were issued through Freezer tech to empty the player's Extra Power bar.
  • Fixed a few animation issues that were causing enemy units to switch between standing still and moving too often, resulting in jerky movement especially when following players in combat.
  • Improved client side keyboard movements to sync better with the server position.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the small Goldfields plants to appear black in some cases.
  • Balance of the NPC weapons corrected to be matching the actual weapon balance.
  • Ankylosaurus mobs balance fixed to be based on Ankylosaurus instead of Tyrannosaurus.
