At launch, make it that you can choose your starting dino. Many people may want to try different dinos at first.

Therefore you make the unlock quests individual from person to person. Depending on your starting dino you could put other dinos in the place of yours now. You should be able to choose a "class".

Would be nice but then again parasaur is considered an all around dino with balanced stats each upgrade so it's only natural they make it a starter dino, imagine as a new player you choose brachy, no damage and extremely slow at the beginning. Parasaur skills definitely need to be doing more damage though, 375% is way too low for an all around er compared to others of it's kind.

You've got a point there. But still. maybe giving them this image next to the dino to let them know what they are getting into.

You know they would still have to lock rex tho i agree it would be nice to choose any of other dinosaurs as starters without them immediately picking you para(or previous coelo)

Nah, they should put carno for all instead of making people choose a Dino or para.
Every normal player knows carno is widely used for hunting. No sane person upgrades para as hunting Dino so para is pointless for starting game, idk why it's even there tbh
