Criticism of the Current Portal Buff System in the Game

The current portal buff system, which benefits the attacking clan, has made the game extremely unbalanced and unmotivating. This update, which was supposed to bring more competitiveness and attract new players, has had the opposite effect: a decline in community engagement and a lack of motivation among defending clans, who start the battle at a disadvantage.


This system promotes imbalance and makes battles repetitive and predictable, as the attacking clan, empowered by the buff, can dominate with ease—completely removing the excitement and challenge from portal wars. Instead of encouraging teamwork and strategic preparation, the buff centralizes power on one side, undermining the sense of fairness and healthy competition.


Suggested Improvement: Return to the Previous System


An ideal solution would be to return to the previous system, where portal supply packages existed. That model brought more dynamic gameplay and required clans to stay organized in order to keep their bonuses active.


However, to make this system fairer and more accessible, the suggestion is to remove the requirement of purchasing these packages with real-money currency (Coins). Instead, the game could introduce a new feature where players donate Dino Dollars to their clan, creating a sort of collective balance.


With these donated Dino Dollars, the clan leader or officers could purchase supply packages directly from the Dinoville Store, without the need for Coin top-ups. This would encourage active participation from all members, reward collective effort, and promote a more fair and engaging system.


This model not only brings back the healthy competitive spirit the game was known for but also removes the pay-to-win barrier, making Dino Storm fun, challenging, and balanced for everyone once again.

What I also liked about the previous system was that you could lose the gate, get fame stolen but could instantly take the gate back. Just taking the L and not having to wait so long

What I also liked about the previous system was that you could lose the gate, get fame stolen but could instantly take the gate back. Just taking the L and not having to wait so long
Another problem is, when you lose a gate, the clan that took it can upg gate to max n not take any other gates, keeping you stuck at 26 drain rate if you are alone, which comes often in other servers.

However, even when with 5 players, the drain rate is not much better. Takes multiple phases to retake a gate, which also makes no sense. Why have phases, if you can't take 1 gate in that phase from 100% to 0. The system forces you to click on attack gate, then u go shower, eat something, talk to your family n come back to game after retaking the gate, because in the draining process you can't do anything else in game.

I do like the idea that you can upgrade your gate but it is true the draining afterwards are mind numbing

But previous system also said if you are one healer and one drainer you dont drain gate at all unless healer is dead).
