Clothes/skins upgrade

Wouldn’t it be great instead of wasting both dino dollars and gold coins into triforging gear, to just upgrade your q0 endurance saddle into a q1 one? of course, with either the risk of it being destroyed or attribute swapped for example.

my guess was using gold coins to upgrade with chances of it being destroyed when i read this post at first.
