One of the goals of DS is to reduce the large alliances in the wars, something that has been done more or less, but it could be more satisfactory if DS had more active players, having a low number of players causes that there are only 2 alliances and not a third alliance., I think it is also due to a social factor, since in both sides there is a high trust and loyalty, at the same time a "custom" of game that left the previous system. That's why it will be very difficult for the clans of the same alliance to attack each other, or that a third alliance may emerge to create more competition, but what if we "forced" more competition, how could a third, fourth or even fifth alliance be created?

This idea consists of creating a system of clan factions "controlled" by the game, each clan will belong to and fight for its own faction through activities, depending on how the faction competition goes, each one will have a benefit that will help the members of a clan within the game for a certain period of time. At the same time, belonging to a faction guarantees you obtain exclusive items as well as rewards.

- 4 main factions as an example but could be more -
  • Saurians
  • Raptors
  • Cretaceous
  • Titans
- Considerations to join a faction -
  • Have a minimum number of players in a clan.
  • If your clan joins a faction for the first time it will be "free".
  • If your clan leaves a faction, you will have to wait 1 month to join another one.
  • Joining another one will cost 1 million clan DDS.
  • *There might be a certain limit on the number of clans or clan power to balance factions, the game might also automatically create a new faction if so.

- Benefits of belonging to a faction -

The benefits are mainly passive, but also collective between clans. Each week, depending on the activity/points of the faction, you will receive rewards according to the weekly position they have established.

1st place:
  • +20% chance to farm items.
  • +10% of extra DDs in the sale of items.
  • +20% damage against pve creatures.
  • Additional individual rewards (boosters, boxes, skins).

2nd place
  • +10% extra DDs on item sales.
  • +10% of damage against pve creatures.
  • Additional individual rewards (boosters, boxes, skins).

3rd place
  • +5% extra DDs on the sale of items.
  • +5% damage against pve creatures.
  • Additional individual rewards (boosters, boxes, skins).

4th place
  • +3% damage against pve creatures.
  • Additional individual rewards (boosters, boxes, skins).

- How to get faction points (Existing activities) -

PVE:

  • Kill common mobs: 1 point.
  • Kill alpha/veteran mobs: 3 points.
  • Kill a monster dinosaur: 6 points.
  • Complete low level quests: 0.5-10 points.
  • Completing high level quests: 10-20 points.
PVP:
  • Capture buildings: 10 points
  • Defend a building in a phase: 20 points.
  • Defeat an outlaw (rival faction). 5 points.
  • Defeat a duelist player (rival faction): 4 points.

Other activities that could be considered/added:

Skirmishes: This mechanic consists of capturing "camps" that appear randomly from time to time on any map (3 per map).

Gameplay:
>A camp appears randomly on a map and is announced in-game.

>The factions must immediately go to claim the camp, one or two players must stay in the site area, fill the bar and claim the camp.

>If another faction arrives to try to take the site, another bar will appear indicating how much percentage that faction has to claim the camp, and so on.

>The faction that claims the site the longest wins. Consequently, the winning faction receives 20 points.


Capture the Flag.

Gameplay:


>A flag appears randomly on a map and must be brought to a specific point on the map.

> The flag bearer receives a damage reduction buff to not die quickly, but his speed is decreased.

>If the bearer dies, the flag will be free on the ground and any other faction can pick it up, however, the drop-off location will be different.

>Once the faction brings their flag bearer safely to the final destination, they win and receive 20 points.

And those are two interesting examples. I would also add as a suggestion that, after each victory, the players would receive individual loot for the effort they made. For example, boxes that could be opened with unique faction keys.


- Individual ranks -
Depending on a player's activities, an individual rank will increase which could give them access to better things or prove the faction's time and experience. However, if your clan leaves the faction you belong to, the ranks will be erased and you will start from 0 if you return or leave for another faction.

- Exclusiveness -
Belonging to a faction grants you some exclusivity in purchasing specific items in the lily store (depending on your rank) or in a possible faction store.

Besides that, killing 10 mobs (2 minutes) has the same points as capturing a gate (30 minutes). I think it's a great idea.
