The right answer: There are two possible solutions to this puzzle, both of which require the farmer to cross the river 7 times!
Here's one solution:
- Farmer takes pachy across.
- Farmer rows back to left shore.
- Farmer takes veggies across.
- Farmer takes pachy back to left shore, since it would eat the veggies.
- Farmer takes carno across.
- Farmer rows back to left shore.
- Farmer takes pachy across again.
