Educate me why activity tracker is used in clans?

Hello all, I want to understand:

1) Why activity tracker exists?

2) how it's actually used?

3) why is there reset option for activity tracker? —I guess it applies for fame received data too?
also I never ever pressed reset button neither was in ally before so I wanna know why.

Drain points,def points,fight points (during phases) it is reset in case of leader knows if someone play active or not and taking fame via that . You dont have points of attack/def/fight bcs you holding proct against ally.

Okayyy.

1) what about site conflict kill points? How does it add up?

2) to maximize draining/healing, we need 5 different dino's means for example 1 coel, 1 Centro, 1 brach, 1 rex, 1 carno
Or
It doesn't matter as long as there's 5 dinosaurs in the perimeter?

3) why do I lose buff fighting enemies even while standing in the tower perimeter sometimes, is there a way to prevent losing buff?

Main reason for loss of buff is being outbuffed for draining solo.....

It’s mainly there for clan management. Leaders and right hands use it to track how active members are things like fame gained, donations, participation, etc. Basically it helps separate active players from inactive ones

The reset is actually very important
It allows clans to track activity over a specific period, yes it resets fame received and other tracked stats, so leaders can measure progress from that exact point forward
If there was no reset, the data would just keep stacking forever, and you wouldn’t know who’s currently active vs who was active months ago

It’s a very simple way to see who’s active and who’s inactive, below examples of 2 active players
