New Power Gel: Drop Rate Buff /New Content Ideas #5

Hi everyone, how's it going? It’s been a while since I last posted one of these threads, but I’m going to start uploading them at least monthly (I guess, I think... actually, whenever I feel like it, haha).

Anyway, I’ll get straight to the point. One of the biggest problems in the game right now is the progression and the very, very slow leveling process without Plus or Vios (most of us know this). So, why not add a Gel that improves the drop rate of high-rarity items? (gems, skins, clothing, and rare upgrade items).



The implementation of these Gels addresses one of the core problems of the game: the SLOW PROGRESSION that leads many players to leave. This would be a game-changer for farming Dino Dollars, weapons, and dinosaurs. It makes the gameplay more versatile and helps retain players by avoiding stagnation


I think it would be great if it worked like this:

• 1 Gel: +5% Drop Rate (Duration: 30 minutes)
• 2 Gel: +10% Drop Rate (Duration: 12 hours)
• 3 Gel: +25% Drop Rate (Duration: 3 days)
• Stacked Total: +40% Drop Rate Bonus

Since these are Luck Gels, the drop rate for these items should be very rare. In case they are available in the shop, their price in gold should be quite expensive.


As I’ve said, this would greatly help new players progress faster, leading to more people in the game for those chaotic wars (you know what I’m talking about)

Fast progression is a key point for the game, and I believe the existence of these Gels would make things much easier for both low-level players and high-level players looking to reach their first 10M or 50M DDs. :=)

Its a good idea, but I feel like if the Gels are too expensive, they’ll be impossible to get for people who don't spend money on the game. You know what I mean? It’s basically PaytoWin

The idea is designed for all players, as I’ve already mentioned. However, since it's such a useful Gel, it logically should be expensive in the shop to balance its effect. Aside from that, it’s not Pay-to-Win; it would work just like the other Gels, with a small drop rate chance, or through auctions, just like it's currently done with the 24-hour and 7-day Gels.

The percentages I included are purely for example purposes. Honestly, I’m not sure what the perfect percentage should be to prevent it from being overpowered, but also to ensure it’s not useless (meaning they shouldn't set the rates too low). Basically, it’s about finding that perfect balance

Stacks meaning how many gels per inventory slot. Same with jump link construction kit. Game needs more quality of life

stack wise stones should be 50 per one stack(1x space) instead of 25 cause we need more than one thing increase in stacks....

Around 2200 gold coins as it is an extreme boost on every aspect. More DDs, faster upgrades etc. Paired with the DD gain gel it even boost DDs more.

Yes, it will cover all the rare items like the ones I mentioned in the post: stones, clothing, gels, rare upgrade items, etc. =)

Damn you are the only one that caught us red-handed. Smart guy. Yes we are evil developers and we thought players wouldn't notice this anyway....

Ohh wait... Just checking changelog and the source code and I think we forgot to "destroy" the droprates. This would have been a chance of a lifetime! Damn it! ...

No drop rate has changed and just smilos, brotops, entelodons had missing their drop rate depending on their strength/size which is already fixed live.

It just feels way off, I cleared 3 full groups of level 53 smilos and 2 full groups of brontops and received 1 stone 🥲
And btw... are you guys adding a solution to clear ground items? Since the gel give 33% more drops, and I don't really care about level 45 items they can stack up really quick and make the entire floor yellow. Would be nice to add a "Delete ground items" somewhere. Don't know how the server handles it, but this might be less load for the server as well.

But dinosaurs need to grow back to their original size.
