Fix Dinosaur Shadows (PLEASE)

Hello everyone!

Recently, there was an update that, in my opinion, ruined all skins that contain any white parts...

@Devs, be honest, will this be fixed, or did you do it on purpose?

If the answer is that this "shadow", if it can even be called that, was intentional, please fire whoever came up with this idea.

I think it's one of the worst things I've ever seen:





This is worse than a hairless monkey, and honestly, it even looks quite similar...


I waited some time before making this post, but it seems like if no one complains, it will never be fixed...

At the very least, adjust it so that the contrast between the shadow and the white parts of the skins is less apparent, so it doesn’t look so obvious that the skin is white while the dinosaurs' backs are gray.

About white parts..
You are funny but DUDE YOU ARE IN MOKON MAP OFC DINOS WILL HAVE GREEN HUES, HAVE YOU TRIED BEING IN MAUJAK FOR EXAMPLE?
Each map has different skin hues fitting for the environment and Shadows are perfect as it is each maps

Sorry, I really forgot that in 2025 I have to make it clear when something is sarcasm. I thought the joke about the hairless monkey would make it obvious, but apparently, I was wrong...

Even for me, who hates those shadows, I believe it would be an overreaction to fire someone because of that. Relax, it was just a joke...

you need to understand that they don't care about the player's experience, just as the game is stagnant, they are just looking for a way to make more money for themselves, (I know that the main purpose of the game would be the developers' profit) but sometimes it would be good to have something GOOD in the game, but in all these years they never listened to the players, it's just downhill

If it goes back to how it was before, that would be fine. I don’t want it to be the same color as the skin, but I want the shading to be adjusted so it doesn’t look like the dinos' backs are "dirty."

Well i honestly didn't pay attention to such detail so i have no idea how it looked before vs now hence that confused me.

Hmm I think it only has to do with white skin art but I also remember in red and black engraving, black looks kinda blue excluding other engraving skins with black.

Similar to arterial or whatever that engraving was called xd

From what I understand, the shadows we had been used to since the game's launch were wrong. The big problem is that it took more than 10 years to be fixed, and even worse, after the fix, it ended up being worse than the "error" it was before.

I'm not the only one who currently thinks the dinosaurs' backs look "dirty," but anyway, since it was a fix meant to "improve" things, there's nothing we can do except get used to the new look of the skins. This might be considered a minor detail, but for those who liked the old skins, they know that this small detail has significantly changed their appearance.

The more money you try to make from your game the less you will actually make. Clearly that's something the devs don't understand yet

I will try to help with the shadow thingy, at least what I found out, here is a screenshot of my clanmates
1 has normal rex, other has cyber.
If you look at the neck and the head then it is quite clear that the cybers have this weird unshaded texture
They are somewhat darker
The same is with their thighs

And I believe it is not because of the angle
